LA in a 1999 Dodge Viper, then NYC in 98 M3 BMW. Did it while on rec leave over there, flying from LA to NYC with a lovely stop over in Nevada, always wanted to drive into vegas and we did it, was absolutley brilliant to drive into at night

Sydney. Damn Minux, those are some nice cars! I remember my dad driving a minivan (full of extended family) in Hawaii. He struggled.

I've driven in India, which is absolutely nuts. Like your distance judgement on all four sides of the vehicle needs to be perfect. It's not unusual to clear people, cars and bikes by an inch or two..

Drove a bit in Tonga, good ole Nuku'alofa.. I mainly rode around on a scooter, like a Vespa. Quite a bit of fun..

Drove extensively across the South Island of New Zealand. Driving in Christchurch city centre, even in peak hour is like the suburbs of Melbourne and Sydney. Piss easy..

I spent 5 months in the good ol' USA touring around in an Oldsmobile.
Mainly visiting National Parks but did drive through New York - made sure i arrived on Sunday. Hardly any traffic about - it was an amazing drive - skyscraper after skyskraper and yellow cabs everywhere.
San Fransico was also a great drive - but don't believe the movies i couldn't get the car airborne once - every intersection was controlled by stop signs or traffic lights so you couldn't shoot straight through the intersection. Very disappointing.

Worst part is I wasn't driving a convertible or a sports car but I was driving the work F650...

One of these...its scary as you can't see vehicles in front or directly behind you and trust me....in NYC they get REAL close to you
You put you left foot in, your put your right foot in , you take your left foot out and you slide it all about!

Forklifts have been used to fill it but generally we load it with a set of stairs that drop down from the back.

As to what I do.....I do stuff

Hahaha!!! I don't feel so bad now.....
I'm the same as Bangers88. Some people reckon Launceston bigger. But Hobart is for sure.

i prefer driving around on weekday nights, no traffic then, saturday is the worst day for driving around here i reckon. sunday ~4pm isnt bad
one thing has be confused though, if you were say at ground zero in nyc, how far is the nearest servo?

When i was in LA I hired a Mustang Convertable. Drove all over California then to Vegas. Stayed in Vegas for a while drove out to the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam (hired a speedboat and hooned all over the lake at Hoover Dam) Hired a Dodge Viper for the day from Dream Car Rentals in Vegas.

Best time ever im going back next year to do the same but also drive over to the East coast and explore that as well.
