Mickey Dee's (Mc'donalds)

a few nights ago me and me sister called into mickey dee's and ordered 2 double quater pounders with cheese meal large. we went throught the drive thru and we had to wait for our food. we then decieded to go home and eat the food, and i asked me sister to check the bag cause i had a feeling that they gave us the wrong food. me sister looked in and said yeah it's fine, so i go okay.

We got home and sat down at the table and me sister goes i got a cheese burger. and i was like 'what'? i pulled mine out and it was a cheese burger too, so then i looked on the box which the burger was in and it said double quater pounder with cheese.

then i had a sip of me coke and it was flat and it was just like syrup

So yeah i wasn't too impressed to find that mickey dee's didn't do their job proberly. I know i should have check it but wouldn't you think if the box says double quater pounder with cheese, you expect a double quater pounder with cheese

So yeah has anyone eles had that happen to them or got any stories to tell about mickey dee's?.

they stuff our orders all the time. not as bad as KFC though. do what we do, ring and complain and get free meals. tell them you got a couple of other things too like a Mcflurry that was all icy. their motto is "the customer is always right".

KFC ripped me off on friday night. my girl and i went to the mall to get some dinner and i asked for a 3 piece hot box. i got a 2 piece feed with NO COLESLAW!!!

im thinking that it had something to do with the fact that i had sunk about 10 beers and i may have been slurring my speech a bit

I actually work at maccas so i can explain most of the shit that happens if you have questions.

In your case the girl who took your order probably put through a double cheese (because they are rather popular), check your receipt and you'll find out what actually went through.
It's weird that it's in a quarter box though, id assume the person in the back ****ed up royale, maybe ran out of buns and was forced to try cheese buns instead? who knows, either way it was a massive ****up and doesnt make sense.

i got into an argument at maccas back when they had the old apple pies. i asked for a choko pie with apple sauce. they said an apple pie. i said no a choko pie cos thats whats in them. all hell then broke loose. pretty funny at the time, spose you had to be there though

yer i have had problems gettin takeaway not too often tho, once at subway that shat me off as i saw them make it but the other w@nk3r grabbed it and gave it to osmeone else and i didnt realise till i was home!! lol...

but its life people make mistakes so i dont care to much...

look at it logically. these places prepare food, and have it ready for you within seconds of you driving your fat arse to the window and slurring your needs to the poor KID (often) working the window. they dont have to be educated to work there, they dont get paid a fortune and they arent usually the most confident people (first job whatever) so when they arent sure what the person says they will more than likely best guess it.
If i am in the unfortunate position to have to rely on fast food, i order, make sure they read the order back, then check it before i leave.

vc-brock, did you tell the person when ordering "me and me sister want a..." because chances are they were already laughing too much to get it right.
I also think that if you had to wait it was probably getting late and there wasnt much food on so you probably copped some late slops.

in short, lay off the workers, consider that they are there because they are cheap and need the crap they are paid, and they arent going to get it right everytime.
if you want to get exactly what you want tasting exactly how you want it to taste start cooking your own.

i said to them "can i grab two double quater pounder meals large". I was in my hotted up excel and i think the girl was too busy looking at me car. But yeah i told me mate about what happened the other night at mickey dee's, he like one of the managers there and he was on holidays so yeah he's gunna have a word to them girls who were on that night, i never saw them girls before working there, so yeah normally when i go to mickey dee's the normal staff that are usally on knows my car and knows me and they always get me order right. But them girls must have just started working there cause i haven't seen them before.

ive never seen a subway where you dont have an opportunity to watch your food be prepared. id have thought particularly when she has a condition like that she would be careful enough to double-check.

Macca's **** up, but hey, i bet every single person here doesn't put in 100% every day of the week at work.


Not that it doesn't piss you off, but check you meal before you leave, or watch them put it in the bag. and if you want show how pissed you are, sit in the drivethru and turn your car off, and demand your meal the way you ordered it. Garuntee that the manager will have that meal + freebies in your car quicker than it takes you to drive thru the carpark.
