Well, after much debate I have decided to pull my head out of JC. Many many complaints about my actions, a busy work schedule, a new house on the way and the fact that I'm trying to get over my homesickness has made me decide to hand over my moderator reins to Troy711.

I know that I have upset a lot of people on the board with my actions and for that I do not apologise. Infact I don't recall the last time I apologised for anything. But I do understand that a few things I've said to numerous people were uncalled for and were not the way a moderator should be behave. Due to the fact that I refuse to apologise for actions that I felt were uncalled for but did break the rules then it is only fair that I take the punishment that would be dealt out to normal members. The problem was that none of the moderators were willing to do that. So, I did it to myself.

I have spent so much time on this forum in the past as it was my little way of keeping in touch with the Australian Automotive Scene. The fact of the matter is that I'm not in Australia. I'm in America. I'm not going to be in Australia for many years. It gets harder and harder to log off each time and look out my office window and realise that I'm not in Australia anymore and there is no yellow brick road. I'm learning to face the fact my car scene now is the American one. Time to stop pretending and just get on with it.

Our new house is nearly finished now (see pictures below) and the 45 acers need a lot of landscaping, the dam down the back needs to be pumped and refilled ready for swimming and the driveway needs to be completed before the county has a heartattack.






And so with that, I shall bid you all farewell and I wish you ALL the very best in whatever endeavours and pursuits you may wish to follow and I know that my boots are far too small for Troy711 and that he will do a much better job then I did.

Ray, i used to rent a house like that, they called it 'the lodge'. nice feeling of a morning when the wood warms up, slight country smell (ours was in the city) and everything always being so bright. im sure youll enjoy it there and i look forward to dropping in on the next rounds.
