2 Housemates Escorted From Big Brother

This morning at like 4:30am two big brother housemates were escorted from the show.

The two housemates, John and Ashley sexually assaulted another housemate, being Camilla by giving her whats known as a "Turkey Slap".

Im sure this will cause alot of controversy when people find out more... With Big Brother already such a controversial and hated show, will it survive much longer?

I highly doubt they will can the show immediately. Too many sponsors/network obligations.

If you think about it. Channel 10/Endemol have done nothing wrong, something happened, they acted in a responsible manner by removing the parties concerned and no doubt they have contacted the relevant authorities. The actions in question did not go live to air on TV, only to the web stream.

It seems the media beat up is only going to serve as much needed publicity for the show which it could probably do with at the moment anyway.

All i can say is that its by far the best reason for getting kicked out, whenever someone asks you can say you were kicked out for turkey slapping camilla lol.

I think it's wrong, i mean, it is rape, 1 guy holding, 1 guy slapping, it's not right, however earlier in the night she was apparently saying she wanted a piece of Ash (who did the slapping). I dunno what possessed them to do that though, was stupid

Regardless of what they have done, it is sexual harrasment, straight simple clean cut case. These 2 guy's will vanisih soon enough, and bb will run it's course in due time, i doubt very much if you see another bb. It's not sexual harrasment, Camilla did not press charges and the Qld police aren't investigating the matter any more.
From what i saw of the video once camilla said she'd had enough they stopped. I think the BB producers are just covering their asses by kicking the two guys out, saves them the problems they had the with guy flopping his wang out last year (or the year before)

I'm not going to push the point much any more, but liken this to a car race..... there is an accident and the aftermath. If you heard about the accident or saw the race, are you more likely to watch for the fallout and the rest of the race or would you walk away? The fact that they spent almost the whole hour of last nights recap show going over the whole situation says enough to me that they mentioned it after the event. There is also talk of another show at a later date that will go into more detail with the parties concerned.

It's pretty simple, it was all over the radio and papers this morning and has sparked more interest than the shows producers could have hoped for. The fact that there are boring people still in the place is irrelevant, people will still watch. Even the reason we are talking about it on here is amazing despite the amount of dislike shown for the program in some threads to date.

agree totally..... bb was going down the gurgler and now there is one incident, which, fair enuf, ' was against the rules' but as camilla said last night...there was no malice intended and when she said stop, they did....publicity stunt if ive ever one...there would be no reaction from public or censors or noone had bb of realised it was all in good fun and there was no problem but no theyve been booted out for 'alleged sexual assault' as the news put it last night.... people will kick up a stink and more ppl will watch it in the hope of seeing or hearing something about it....

Precisely. It's amazing all the people bitching about the show who don't actually watch it. Ratings normally dictate what stays on air, its a proven ratings winner to date in certain age groups hence the reason why they still show it. Funding and support next year will be the clincher unless someone in govt puts the brakes on the whole concept.
