Kapooka!

Okay well I am off to Kapooka ( Army Recruit Training ie BOOT CAMP! ) next month, and its going to be the toughest 4 weeks of my life that i spend down there, 16 hr days of action mentally and physically challenging! If any of you fellow JC members have experienced Kapooka in your past please tell me your experiences on it.

Once i get back ill be looking to buy me a Holden as ill have lots of cash!

4 weeks? You are ****ing joking? They train recruis for 4 weeks now? Well no wonder ****heads from 3rar shoot themselves in the head..

Whatever happened to the 3 months of training? I feel sorry for the units that receive these lids into their sections...god talk about retraining.

Good luck with it, but with 4 weeks of training i wouldnt actually say it will be physically and mentally challenging...pffft

No u won't they dont pay u that well. . . . .

It'll be a shock, but its not that bad, I had 3 months of Rookies for the RAAF.

Just be prepared to get yelled at alot, march around everywhere and do things to anal standards.

i got 2 words advice for ya champ
dont eat the chicken nuggest, they arnt chicken nuggets
and if the rsm gives you the choice of his punishment over facing a charge, Take the charge.

well doen on getting in, and all the best with it champ, nice to see someone doing something with them selfs, the defence force is good for young fella's, sorts ya out

hell i teach primary school kids. 12 weeks no break. id rather do what you are doing.

If anyone asks "who has a motorbike licence?" always answer no. They ask that when they want something done. I got through a 3 monther back in 93 so a month cant be that bad.
