Your worst accident

Hey guys im just wondering what was the worst accident you've been in?


I was sitting at the traffic lights, waiting for the lights to change and some drunk fool in a 2004 camry ran into the back of me and pushed me into the lancer infront of me, my drivers side chair backrest part snapped over the back seats but i only pulled my back out a bit, nothing too seirous but my car was a write off.

He hit me pretty hard too, because both of his airbags in the front blew.

came of a motor X bike, dislocated and chipped my shoulder, had to wait till the chip healed befor they could set the dislocation right.

i crashed into a short pole on my pushie, the bike came with me as i flew through the air. unfortunatley i was still clipped into the pedals so it twisted my leg a bit. not too much blood, but it hurt lots.

Nothing to serious on my part, but my mate has an arificial eye socket and a titanium cheek bone from coming unstuck on a tyre being towed by a race jetski, kneed himself in the face, shattered his cheek bone and knocked him out

When i was younger (bout 10) was mucking round at my surf life saving club on some sleeeping bags, we had just come back from a carnival. So yeah there was a few of us screwing round and i ran on to the row of sleeping bags, as i did that they rolled out from under neath me and i smashed the back of my head right on the corner of a brick BBQ kinda didnt feel it at first. Pain only hit in when i pulled my hand away from my head and it was covered in blood. Theres been a few but thats the worst!! ill the rest ofor another time!!

Rolled my calais... came out of it with just a couple of scratches on my hands (and even that was just from glass on the ground as i was getting out)... lucky...

i stacked a motor bike once...went to wide on a corner and through a ditch...broke a few hand bones and took a lot of skin off lol...then the most painful was getting bowled over by a chick in softball lol...she was running for first and i got in the way...broken collar bone and heaps of piss taking on my behalf haha...

i went round a wet roundabout not long ago and understeered off the road into a ditch, no dammage but had to be towed out, thats y i have a thread asking for 2 hubcaps,

ive had a bew motoX accidents, 1 knocked me out, stacked over a set of doubles.

the only other scary one ive had was in my kart, had a tussle with a guy on the last lap and ended up kartwheeling down the back straight at speed

Driving along and some tool, to beat the line, ran his stop sign to cut in front of me, only to panic and lock up, i swerved left, saw a bollard and thought **** hitting that, swerved right again, but i didnt realise i had my foot hard on the brakes still, rear end swings out, strikes the centre median strip and my car goes up on two wheels.

getting off the road quicksmart and the end result is as follows:

2bent pursuit rims
slight bend in axel
1 hell of a rush [ the bad kind ]

the ****with didnt stop either which burns me a little, someone got his plates but the cops wouldnt check the owner out untill i could confirm what kind of car it was, i said which hatch but in all honesty, nfi, they agreed it was white but said nothing further about it. grr.

i was riding my 125 and hit a hole some one had dug along this bush track and i went over the bars and hit my chin on a rock and needed plastic sergury (only cause it was on my face) and a jaw reconstruction. thats wat you get for not wearing a helmet.

and on a VY to boot! my vs is only a non abs liveaxel so a 2nd hand replacement is a simple bolt on job.

your vy would have the full IRS and abs module dilly to work with.

Might pay to check along the edges under the car too, somehow i flattened one to the underbody lips, its not goign to hurt it but its weird that its like that.

Hehe my worst accident was getting into a relationship ... na seriously.. probably when i accidently reversed into my mates headlight on his VB with my VB lol..

Theres a VY in Deer Park Wreckers at the moment if you do need an axle Maxy0987. I think all the mechanical bits were still there.

My worst accident was when a woman in a Corsa (Barina) pulled across in front of me while I was doing about 80kph. Hit her straight in the side and pushed her into another car waiting to pull out of the junction she was turning into.

It destroyed the front end of our car and creased the roof badly.

I rode my surboard into a backwash wave and kneed myself in the face, that needed a few stitches but worst of all was when I was riding a 3 year old style tricycle (when I was 14?) and totaly stacked it, of course the handle grips were worn out and the handle bar stabed me in a not good part of the worst part it could of hit well second worst part maybe . After sitting on the ground for quite awhile doubled over in pain! I went home, then went to the hospital, no stiches but the nurse putting the bandages was young and cute and that made it ok . Haven't been on a tricycle ever since either.

I forgot one other thing, I tried to run down a cliff once but it ended up going so fast that I couldn't stop and ended up sprinting beyond maximum speed down this like 100 meter high cliff across the gravel road at the bottom then flying through the air, off a vertical drop about 5 meters down and landed on large volcanic rocks that are next to and in the ocean. I landed right on one knee and it was swollen and stuffed up for ages, I had to walk around with one un bendable leg.

came off a bmx and the handle ripped my nipple off. stuck it back on with a couple of bandaids.

another one was on a dirt bike. went to fast into a chicane and went into a ditch and hit the side of a bridge. me and the bike flipped into the air and i landed on the bridge with the bike on top of me. swolen neck and jaw from the helmet strap. and took all the skin off one side of my arm from the wrist to the elbow. you could see the bone of my elbow there was so much skin missing. my cousin greened out trying to clean it for me so i sat there numb from shock and picked all the gravel out myself. wrapped it up and kept going to work for a week afterwards. went to the doctor to clean it after i got tranny fluid in the wound during a service and the doctor said if i'd left it any longer i'd have gotten gangrene and lost my arm.

a fair few others but those hurt the most. more then when i got hit by a car.

At the tender age of 10, left my little bro's(twins) in mothers car while she was shopping so I could go on my skateboard, only 2 c the car rolling down the hill in the carpark(little bastards tooled with the handbrake and took it outta 'P', so i legged it to the rear of the car to push against it coz it was still going slow, in order to stop it rolling any further. Because the old XY f$#d wagon was just a little bit bigger than me, it helped me b part of a car sandwhich, squashing me between the back of mums car and the other car I was trying to stop it from hitting. got outta it with a broken arm and a dumbass embarrased look on my face.
Oh and a plaster cast on my right arm...

I was involved in a couple of good car accidents/incidents, but never as a driver (howzabout a 720 @ 120 on lonsdale road(SA) Dopey missus thought the cars had stopped at the traffic lights 'n hit the picks, but they're about 500meters further down the road funnily enough, she wears glasses now)

Was in a bad 1 in North Adelaide where1 or 2 guys died(can remember, I know 1 did 4 days l8er from head injuries. I never knew the mercedes gloveboxes were made of metal 'till I saw the knee dents in it. Not 2 mention the smashed windscreen where the driver 'n front passengers heads hit, not 2 mention the indian woman with her ass on the floor of the car 'n her legs over the trans tunnel, head on the seat(looked like her neck was broken), holding a baby in her arms- not 1 single seat belt in sight. the 2 pissedminders in the HQ wagon that caused the head on were OK but I still remember the screaming and this clown laughing 4 a few seconds, then crying 4 a couple then laughing(It was the shock apparently)
I was in a m8's 200 cortina, he was still on his 'P's 'n I was just getting over his excursion (we were the 'original' drifters, Ah, the 80's )off a dirt track near Hallet Cove BMX track, thru a wire fence 'n on2 Lonsdale road 'n nearly in2 the oncoming traffic in a 100k zone....bloody idiot

Hope his driving improved alot since then-considering he's driving around in an 351 XY with a T trim on it.......
