2009 Camaro Gets Starring Role in New Movie!!!
The new 2009 Chevrolet Camaro (already posted in the Pub section) is receiving a starring role as "Bumblebee" in the new Transformers movie!
Apparently, "Bumblebee" is going to start out as a 1970s Camaro, and then be rebuilt as a 2008/2009 Camaro. Tuner company Saleen appears to be the company behind building this version of the 2009 Camaro as can be seen from the Saleen plates on 'Bumblebee'.

I'm a huge transformers fan, and yep fair to say some of the fanboys aren't happy. But they're more concerned about the voice of G1 Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen - who's the one that every kid of the 80's would remember) not getting the gig for the movie. And also the movie being the story of a love affair between a boy and his car (Bumblebee). Surely it should be about the war between good and bad transforming robots fighting for domination of the galaxy? The movie is released July 4th 2007 and has the potential to be massive. Also has the same potential to be a complete turkey.

that camaro looks ###n sexy as.... love it! but how can bumble bee not be a volksy? and optimus prime, not voiced by optimus prime....this may be the deciding factor between classic and craptastic!!!

according to the site, volkswagen did not want to be associated with the picture (cant imagine why not, imagine the publicity!)
i must say, even though they probably wont make an appearance, the dinobots were my favourites, followed closely by starscream....

Bumblebee is a camaro cos there is a license agreement with GM. Optimus is a truck and Megatron will be a tank. Soundwave will be a life size radio of 4.5 inches. Bernie Mac will be the car salesman that sells bumblebee to spike. Megan Fox will be in it as spikes love interest. look at www.transformersthemovie.info

i just saw the movie trailer OMG OMG OMG.if you go to see Pirates Of The Caribbean 2 it should be showed as a trailer. It starts off in 2003 with a NASA vehicle on Mars and the last thing you see is a Decepticon smash the camera. it looks absolutely friggin AWESOME.

i hope they make Blur as a McClaren or Ferrari. I suppose the new ferrari would look the closest with that bit sticking out the front. It'd have to be blue though.
