Don't know about the 1,000,000th Holden, but the 6,000,000th one is up at the Birdwood Motor Museum.

Isn't the first real holden 48-215 #1? I saw it at all holden day a couple of years back.

I have a pic somewhere of the 1,000,000 holden I'll dig it up later. (think it was an ek)

Over 2.4 million from 1978 for Australian & export markets. Don't know what the split is though.

It'd be interesting if you could find out what the build number of your particular car was and how that relates to "build number"...my VX was made in late 2001...I'd like to know how close it is to the 6 millionth.

    1 million by 1962...

Holden had already made 1 million cars - 2 years before I came into the world.

Shit has certainly changed in the way of production lines!

I actually used to own one of the VERY FIRST commodores produced in Victoria.

I have pictures of the rust burdened pile of metal elsewhere.

Do you have the body number (s/n) or date of manufacture of the VC?

    Long shot I know...
