    Thumbs up Ford bashing.

woo, i drove a ford... today

insert the sarcasm .. no no, seriously, while my dad is in hospital somebody has to drive the thing, seeing as i learnt off it, i have SOME sympathy for the machine, until it wouldn't start. piece of crap had only been sitting outside for 2 days and the battery was dead. and once the NRMA arrived, i kept revving it, it conked ten minutes later, then the NRMA man had to charge it more, heh, i also blew off tons of black smoke, awww plastic bag was caught on the exhaust.

not to mention 2 days before today it kept stalling, but something about patting MY commo beast made me feel better.
so i drove around for a while, being frowned upon by other commos and overtaken by an old man, oh my poor commo missed socialising.
    share you ford stories!

---- this thread is just a bit of a joke, each car is it's own, to all who get offended i apologise, fords to their fords and holdens to their holdens.

which is also something i will grant AU's, they handle ok but thats about it.

Guys I'm sorry, but that type of mentality is the reason, why people hate Holden/Commodore owners so much.

Don't worry over at the Ford Forums, the exact opposite occurs, so they're no better.

I just feel embarrased sometimes at these type of threads and it makes us all look like morons.

However I still think the AU, is pretty ugly. (It could have a Holden badge and I would say the same thing)

lol sorry mate, if I sounded like a grandpa.

I just find it frustrating, when people make threads with the soul purpose of bashing a particular brand or car.

My mate had an EA wagon, which was a POS. You're right though, when saying some cars are just lemons. Hell I've seen a few VLs, that have been complete lemons too.

its like copmparing my mates EL(?) '94 and my VS '95, i havent driven the his ford but its heaps quieter, no rattles etc...but the design of the interior licks nut, they had to remove the driver door handle cos his legs wouldnt fit and the seats don't go back far enough...and the split fold rear seats, Ford put the split in the wrong place, it should be in line with the middle seat belt so that the seat belt doesn't have to be in the way.

My VS though is so loud, every bump makes it creak and groan and rattle...but being a holden guy i ignore it and turn the music up and feel good knowing my car goes a bit harder...i hope...

    that's my rant.
Need some parts for my VH 253:
Green standard steering wheel...Green lower B-pillar covers.
Green sunglasses holder/lower dash bits...Air-con and assorted engine bay parts.
    PM with any info.

hehehehe i think ill have to cut in here and say that ive owned my ford for a month now, ive driven it 3 times over the month, the rest of the time its been back at the car dealers getting fixed.
this is all because the last 15 yrs of wear and tear has come together just at the wrong time.

i agree... threads like these have been done to death. the end result is always the same, no new arguements are presented and it always disolves into childish dribble.
