Default spotted an 'interesting' car in the trading post today

some bloke had a gemmy for sale. it was running a worked 05 WRX motor (worked, as in 556HP at the wheels) and a full AWD conversion. he was asking 10,000 for it... it needed paint cos it was an 'unfinished project'. if i had the spare cash i reckon it would have been a fuggin awesome buy!

That would be an awesome car! Was there any pics of it? I saw a MK1 Golf with full Impreza running gear on the UK ebay a while back. I think the motor on the Golf was just a stock Impreza one though. It ended up going for about 6000 pounds in the end.

*Grabs thread, guides it in a better direction...*

An all wheel drive gemmi would be sweet. And 556hp is a fairly well worked motor. Sweet.

Can anyone see some seats breaking.....

my only problem with it would be that a car like that with that much power would not have been driven lightly...

Would have to have at LEAST 17's/18's to keep the traction..

14/15" whatever they come standard with.. would fry the tyres in a blink!

that is true... people dont buy/build street driven race cars to drive them like a grandma..

Well.. the way I see it, you modify a car, you drive it how it was supposed to be driven. If your car has a few wank factor mods, then yeah.. I'd still granny drive.. but if it's more like off its nuts.. then yeah, I'd hammer it most the time -- safely of course..

    Ima cop shit for this..
All I've got that stands out, is 2.5" Custom Exhaust setup, CAI, K&N, Belmouth removed from Throttle Body...

soon to buy 9th set of tires. 8th set are looking quite defectable..

just over a year of ownership. HOWEVER Since defencive driving (from a court case) I have calmed down about 80% of my driving. Hardly rip it up now, unless its in a real backstreet away from harm, with myself in the car. I'd class what I have in the way of performance as Wank Factor.

Whoever knows me/my car.. I've concentrated a LOT more on making a custom interior, and nice sound setup rather than getting from A to B in the quickest time possible.

2,500 is the estimate I put on the Sound System,
3 Spray Cans on the interior,
countless swear words, and hours spent on the interior.

My initial aim was a nice simple, effective cruiser that turned some heads.

Yes, there's more diameter of wheel to turn so to speak.
