    Default Tribute to Brock...

Something that should live through all Peter Brock History
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Brock

I class today, The 8th Of September 2006, The end of an era. The day when man an road will always be known as one. I will be wearing my Holden shirt signed by the legend himself an going on a small drive with my headlights on. Today makes more than an end of an era, but the end of a legend, A person who most Drivers idolised, A Man that most car fanatics got there inspiration from as I most certainly did. I'd just like to say R.I.P Peter Brock. You passed an left more than a footprint for your legend to follow on, You passed driving the one car you dreamt of for 40years and finally achieved your goal and made it happen. The daytona... You will never be forgotten.

I just made the picture.... I thought it was appropriate...

    Cheers
    Mathew

P.S- I hope what I have written is ok. I started typing an I guess I finished typing where it ended, The contents of what I wrote is exactly that, Straight from the heart...

Two in a week. The old saying may be true, they died doing what they loved...

Now let us face the Mountain and pray (and I mean this in a nice way).
Oh the wonderful things I could do to my car...
if I had more money, no kids, no wife, no second car, no job, no rent, nowhere to be, didnt need food, didnt need beer...damn.

An excellent tribute on a very sad occasion Hozy.

This was a man who motorsport in this country owes a great debt. "Brock" as he was known to many was one of my heroes who I watched growing up guiding those red & white Toranas and Commodores around the mountian with absolute effortless precision. Out of this tragedy I am happy that you lived your advice to so many - follow your dreams. You will be remembered forever. RIP.

If your wanting to go to cruizes for our ledgend Peter, but can't..., just be thinking of him.

I can tell you now, that living on the Sunshine Coast, you either personaly know the Erwin's, or someone that does. Its like loosing a relative.

    Just be thinking of them.

Please dont go out doing "Brocky Burnouts" like some young twits would, cause the cops are going to be out in force.

That opening piece with the photos was beutiful.
