Handbrake trick...??!!?

yeah, i can do a rather pointless trick, how to "bounce" the rear of your car, blah blah, in drive, handbrake, accelerate..

my questions are, is this illegal, what sort of damage is this causing?

So whilst you're stopped, you pull the handbrake, accelerate and VOUILA, the back bounces?

I never had the back bounce when I was learning to drive a manual and forgot the handbrake on hill starts though..

i've only been driving for, 3 months off my L's and its true, i don't really know much about cars, sure i NOW know its a dumb question, but seriously, i was driving and saw this commodore doing this cool thing and i asked a friend and he told me how to do it.

then i said to my brother i could make the back sort of "bounce" and he said its illegal, and well, i thought i would ask here, it didnt seem so bad, so i wanted to see why it was illegal.
