Attention Sabbath heads.
Being the huge Black Sabbath fan that I am, I was stoked to find these clips on YouTube. I originally had the first two on tape but misplaced them about 15 years ago. First one - the Paris 1970 version of War Pigs. Note tiny stage and drumkit, but watch the way Bill pounds the **** out of his drums. Puts many modern bands to shame. YouTube - Black Sabbath - War Pigs (Live in Paris 1970) Second one - Children of the Grave, the California Jam 1974. This was at the height of their success. An estimated 300,000 people attended this show. YouTube - Black Sabbath - Children of the Grave (California Jam 1974) This last clip is a recent one which is new to me. NIB, live at Donington 2005. Ozzy's voice goes missing but thats ok, he can't sing these days anyway. Good to see the old boys can still pull a massive audience. YouTube - black sabbath -2- N.I.B. Ahh Sabbath, much better than Zeppelin.
