Why did the speed cameras thread get shut down.

To wit this report from the state of New York showing a DECREASE in fatalities when the speed limit was raised.

Well I was in the middle of typing a response and got shut down. This is the second time this has happened to me. Pisses me off because im wasting my time to type a logical response and not resort to name calling and the like and I cant post it.
