this is a very random question... but does anyone happen to know what the current world record for the biggest duct tape ball is? not masking tape, one made totally of duct tape. width and weight if possible

I remember seeing the biggest ball of twine rolling (literally) around Melbourne city earlier this year. About as tall as a person.

orite... ive just emailed GWR for details of the current record. ive had a bit of interest from someone on another forum (from canberra) about getting this project off the ground. if its possible* we might give it a go and do a fund raiser for a local childrens cancer support network.

* = by possible i mean that if the current ball is 2 meters wide then i think ill pass it up

Every time I am sick, I get my mum to go to the supermarket to buy elastic bands.........I add them to my elastic band ball.
This all started when I was 11, and it got as big as a basketball.
Now its only 8 inches high as my family slowly took bands off it for general purpose

Maybe I should get back to it

No offence

, but I think people would appreciate an elastic band ball, more than a duct tape ball, as there's a lot more work involved

......Ht emiddle is really hard to get going
