Aerial Atom

Don't know how many of you guys watch Top Gear, but regular viewers may remember seeing Jeremy Clarkson drive the Aerial Atom some time back.

This thing is MENTAL. Open chassis, weighs under 500 KG and has mad accelleration and excellent handling.

Well, the base one had 160BHP. They then released a newer one with 220.... Apparently they decided it needed some more oomph. They now have one with a supercharger which produces 300!!!! 0-60mph (0-100kph) in under 3s!

Anybody who ever wanted to buy a sportscar for serious performance, but can't afford a ferrari, porsche, lambo etc might want to take a look at this.

I'd love that! It could get expensive when you find you need your own track to unleash it though

Yeah. Just heard on the news this morning that they are changing the speeding laws.

From what I gather, you get caught doing 40+ k's over the limit and the cops will impound your car.

heh heard about the atom ages ago, only seen them on top gear, a google video " look in the factory " and in PGR3 where they had it as a drivable car, its like a cross between a billy kart with an awesome engine

they are simple awesome, would love to take one out for a trackday
