Hobbies (other than your car)

Heya guys,

I just had an idea for a thread, I thought it would be interesting to see what everyone likes to get up to with their spare time. Not so much their car because everyones gonna say that, but other stuff. I thought if everyone posts the stuff they are into maybe people would come across other members with similar interests. I'll start the ball rolling, I like to paint actually im into anything arty/crafty. I love to play basketball, but haven't had the time to since having kids, went 2 shoot a few hoops the other day and 4got how much fun it is.

So someone elses turn now.....

I also love to muck around on ebay, buying and selling anything and everything!

I like electronics (soldering, wiring, building kits), home theatre, home brew, making things...I can think of some good ideas Umm of course one that tops them all. I love shooting guns. Shotguns, 22 rifles, air rifles, high powered rifles, bazooka's (just kidding ) I like to shoot tagets with mates. This can be fun. See who is the best. I never am. Clay shooting with the shotty is great fun. I'm good. But mostly I like shooting foxes and rabbits when I go spot lighting up at the farm (not often). And of course those introduced species. Indian Minors, Sparrows & Starling's are fun for target practice.

Oh, and I like computers too.

Riding my Ducati ST4 , fishing , building electronic kits , have raced a go kart for a couple of years then a speedway car for one season until i bought my house and couldnt afford to race any more. Drinking excessive amounts of whisky was another hobby, but i must be too old now because i cant be bothered drinking much now days.

mm thats a nice duke. i like them (as my name suggests ) i built a semi off-road gokart for a school project and used to hammer that thing into the ground until i blew up the engine on it. still it used to go like 80km/h and when you fishy at that speed on gravel and roll it, it aint fun !!!!! i also enjoy long walks on the beach for you single gals

My main hobby is gold prospecting, both river sluicing & highbanking. I don't mind metal detecting in Central Victoria either when I get the chance.

Also like making usefull things out of junk that I find at the tip or out in the bush.

Poker (in real life not on internet), Golf, I do alot of nothing, playing pool at the pub, getting pissed at the pub. I pretty much just live for the weekend which is playing pool at the pub and getting pissed at the pub.

I'm getting back into we design a bit at the moment, thats fun (in short sessions!). Most of my time is taken up though.. Uni, work, and trying to fit the gym in doesn't leave much time

I dont do much apart from my cars! I LOVE my music, without it id go insane. I make a bit of trance. Play poker, ps2 a fair bit, I also collect a few things like, Simpsons shit, Government signs! Also got pet rats (one is blind btw) kinda cool. Born with no eyes, they keep me busy a bit.

Im a uni student so going out and getting full of piss and bad manners is a given . Love music and stereos. Also enjoy anything outdoors - love fishing and watersports, and watching the supercars, footy and cricket.

i like to watch movies, internet, drinking on weekends i also like to go surfing and wakeboarding (but don't get to do it that often any more because of working on weekends) used to do sailing but the working on weekend thing got in the way of that as well

I tend to rotate hobbies.ATM:

Sailing: MG14 singlehanding this season.

Fishing: mostly fly but not above using bait.

Other hobbies:

Make and play Andean flutes, Quena and Zampona.
Sometimes play publically but not professionally ie not for money.
Not so much in the last 2 years though.

Model Planes: Cl and RC soaring.

Mineral collecting: Haven't done much in recent years

Kayaking: Built 2 boats @ HS, did do comp Slalom, was in Canobolas CC some years ago.

HiFi: Not a real nutcase audiophile but like good sound.

Guess I mostly like things based around the natural environments.

Im into my Martial arts heaps, Going to the gym, Love computers and technology, just built a new spanker pc today actually. Gaming, fav game is CS 1.6 but also love the console games for abit of fun. Im sure there's plenty of other stuff but cbf thinking lol
