free file conversion software (.mov to .mpeg?)

Hey everyone, I am looking for a freeware program that can convert .mov, .avi, .wmv, .asf and probably more, into .mpeg. I have tried a few which don't tell you they're not free until the outputted film clip has UNREGISTERED VERSION plastered all over it.

Any suggestions are great, thanks.

i tried for hours & i couldn't find anything without the watermarks

yeah i was googlin for hours the other night trying 2 find a program to convert xvid to vcd, no luck
