those blue markers are for the fire fighters so they know where the water pipes are located.

one weird thing i noticed is some were badly off centre, apparently they are a fixed distance from the edge of the road to the hydrents

i spent some time figgering it out, it is a new system to mark the position of fire fighters water hydrents (man holes on the road), the old white poles with red tops are hard to find because of gardens and vandals distorying them,

if u notice to there are yellow line along the curb to say no parking there and also they are every 4 or 5 houses apart

    now do u understand

    Default insurence claims

i wonder if you could claim that they could cause an accident, cos they are in the middle of the road.not that a cat eye made a difference to a car,but a bike maybe!!
