Default Anyone else's car not working???

Just wondering if anyone else is going through the same pain as me in not having their car on the road?
My VS has been out of action for the last 2 weeks cos it spun a camshaft bearing and the motor has been getting rebuilt . It's a pain in the ass when something like that happens. Hopefully the motor will be back in and running today or tomorrow.
I've got my VN to drive in the meantime so at least im not without a car. (although not having a car is a good excuse to miss class).

Our VT has been stripped out, interiors gone, had to rip out dash to replace heater core, getting new carpet while we're at it, and putting in a massive stereo system. Getting diff gears, blowers been taken off for rego, going back in soon with new pipework and prob an intercooler. She aint pretty now but it should all be worth it!

My N13 Pulsar has a seized oil pump at the moment and they are buggers to get to, I can get a reco'ed engine for $300 so might just change the whole engine rather than fix oil pump and find out something else has been damaged by the pump seizing

Great thing about having two cars though is you can put off repairs like this if you need too
If ignorance is bliss why aren't there more happy people around ?

i dont even really wanna talk about mine anymore
basicly if it gets to 1/2 on the temp gauge it idles like a pig then cuts out and dies

changed coil and dfi = broke down again

changed CAS = broke down again

taken it to 2 f my 5 mechanics they got no clue

taking it to a specialist mechanic alot of melb ppl would probly know (mario @ autotecnique) he is going to do full sensor dyno test for $45 the first good news ive had conciddering he usually charges $150 onwards

My cars been off the road for about 2 months after I killed my auto trans! Putting 5 speed in, LSD, lightened flywheel and high grab clutch atm. Also doing a full boot install, all new stereo and 18's. Driving my girlfriends Mazda Laser! or Ford 323 atm! Witchever way you look at it.

well my vl wagon has been off the road and stripped for a couple of months, interior has all been done and put back in, now to get the front windscreen rust cut out then a closed door respray in asteroid silver (which it already was) to freshen her up a bit... tailgate has had rust cut out and number plate section smoothed (need to customize rear bar for number plate),

my VP 5ltr ran out of rego last week so its been pulled of the road to swap everything into the wagon so for now im back to my pushie
Going where no late model stato/caprice has gone before.... GAME ON!!
