It turns over, theres fuel, theres spark, leads are on the right way i pressume....

But no starting

gotta love the fact that with quotes the 10 char limit needs to be filled outside of it.

MAT is on the side of the intake plenum tapped to the chamber.. Using a MAT not MAF!


It's firing...... Just wont start..... ARGH!

MAF/MAT shouldn't affect starting, it will just make it run richer so it should be EASIER.

Ummmm dont know if you thought of it Hozy, but does the L36 use a different fuel pump, reg, fuel pressure?

senquisanal injection, could this have something to do with it not running, didnt u want to drop that and use the normal firing which was set up in vn>vr? engine might possibly need it to run

See what happens when you try and dodgy it by runnning the VN ECU and no MAF

Alright well... It's come back to, injectors are not pulsing...

Dave aka Airstrike.. Has nothing to do with that.... It's vn wiring & VN ECU!

Doesnt give a **** about MAF! vn ecu/wairing designed for MAT.

My injector wiring is ****ed somewhere.... From what I can tell..

Ok well, just checked injector wiring again, both leads have power & the blue pulses.......

I have spark......

I presume theres fuel in the rail.......

I got no ****ing idea!

Trying to diagnose before auto Elecy gets here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PROBLEMS DOWN TO.......

No check engine light comes on....

It wont go into limphome mode with a memcal without an eprom on it....

Whatever goes the engine light not working....

It's stopping it from firing....

AUTO ELEC STILL NOT HERE!!!!!!!!!

The engine will still run without the check engine light wired up. the CEL is powered from fuse #10 so check that.
If you have a test light make sure that you are getting power to terminals C16 & B1. these two are always powered and are red/black in color. The ignition input is on terminal A6 which is a pink wire. This should only be hot with the ignition on. Also double check that your earth points are clean & tight.

Spark (already got it, check all 6 )

Compression (doubt it)

Do you have a spare injector you could connect to see if fuel is coming through?
