    Default Moving to the US

Hey everyone, I'm pretty serious at moving to the US within the next few years and was just wondering if anyone on here has done this and if I could have any tips, advice or anything.

I was just having a quick read on the issue and I'm reading that I need a better reason for moving than "just because I feel like it". How much truth would there be to this? That is pretty much my reason and I would really be dissappointed to be shot down over that.

    Cheers

Now lets not get in argument about what you think of the country because thats not what I'm asking, or care about.

umm if its anything like for americans 2 come over here.. then itll be a b*tch.. my dads mrs is american.. and the amount of paperwork 2 become a permanent resident is atronomical!!! ur best bet would be 2 go 2 a US embassy and ask a few qns... but ye ud have 2 work on why u want 2... and have a profession that is sought after over there...

its easy to go over and work for a year / have a holiday, but like said before to become a permanent citizen is a b!tch. I think theres a lot of paper work and you need a green card. This green card is hard to get aswell, im not sure if its true but i heard somewhere they only give out about 1000 green cards a year. or you could just marry a american over there... instant green card

It isn't easy to come over and work for a year, yes becoming a permanent citizen is a bitch, yes the greencard is hard to get, yes they only give out a 1000 a year for no reason and no you don't get an instant greencard for marrying an american.

well, let's see. friend of mine just got royally screwed by an asian... she appears to be doing pretty well for a non-citizen. at their wedding i couldn't help but think of bobo's wedding on fat pizza...
