has anyone got a k750i, would anyone tell me if they have a problem plugging there phone into the computer via the usb cable? is there a trick to it? when i plug mine in all it says is charging and the phone dosnt connect with the computer

It's possible you need to install the bundled drivers that come with the software in order to make it work.

Either that or the USB cable is only provided for charging the phone and you can't actually connect to it (for like if you need to charge your phone and you've only got a notebook PC handy or something)

I have the previous model to that one, (k608i) but connecting it is the same. Install the Sony Ericsson PC Suite, plug in the phone to the computer, then run the program. Should detect the phone automatically. I use My Phone Explorer (http://www.fjsoft.at/), but it is in English and is way faster and easier to use then the SE Phone Suite.

thanks for the reply juzza but the lead that come with it is used for it i know cause i used it once diconnected it and now it wont connect again, when it connects it works a mass storage device

Andyman may I suggest trying a different USB port? I have equipment here which is iffy with the software about which port it's plugged into, if you've removed the cable from the USB port and the cable's not in the same position it was when you first set it up then you may want to try it with one of the other USB ports, just a suggestion!

i just master reset the phone and all it worked so maybe it was something i did, thanks anyway

just some advice...DONT buy a car charger for it off ebay...i did and it blew up my fone...not cool

most of the software that comes from sony ericsson sucks. download a program called floats mobile agent. i use it with my SE z1010, and it can even connect with bluetooth as well. pretty good for an open source program - http://fma.sourceforge.net/
