    Unhappy The Bridge (2006)

I was watching tv b4 and a 60min comercial came on and it said about this movie that u wont be able to get it out of ur head for the rest of ya life it didnt give a name so i searched it coz im inpatient lol and i have2 say I would not want to see this On the big screen for everyone to watch...as this movie should not be shown cause its not nice for the people that came there to kill them selfs(golden gate bridge) as they came there to die and not be involved in a movie...well i did see only a trailer but i still think it should not be shown....well heres a trailer if ya want to see it...(pick where you want to watch it at http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0799954/trailers )

i may get flamed for this... but if someone wants to kill themselves, then let them.

only reason i wouldn't see that movie is because it looks boring

hmmm it can be seen that way, but it can also be seen as making people realise what's actually happening to people out there.
never know, it might make people donate to causes regarding suicide

yah making the movie is not a money making way, i reckon it is to educate the public and the world about what happend there,

i personally wont go to the movies to see it but soon enough when its on foxtel i will watch it.

If you wanna make money from someone selfish enough to off themselves then why not. someone may as well benefit from the whole process

did any of you actually watch the 60 minutes set on the movie? You will see it hasnt been done for the money, it actually looks like a great movie to see. One guy who survived gave a great insight to the feelings of what happened in his moments of the jump, amazing to hear him say how the second he could no longer stop what was happening, he didnt want to die. How many people think that when it is a second to late. Unfortunatley with suicide alot of people don't get that second chance, alot of the time the people just need a shock to the system to kick them out of their rut. It is very sad. Having people i know kill themselves it is very easy to say how selfish they are etc, but until you know why they have done it, it is best not to persecute these people.

    Yes true.
I found it amazing that there was only a 4 foot barrier stopping you from jumping of this bridge.
That guy you spoke of, fighting to have a bigger barrier installed now.
I couldn't beleive that 1288 people have jumped to their deaths of that bridge since the thirties, sad.

Yeah, it is very sad, hopefully with the release of this film, people will take suicide more seriously, i mean, the people you see just impulse and do it, it is just insane.

its more than likely to educate people and to show them what some people go through and what leads them to commiting suicide.

after all, not all movies are the typical american crap
