Yet Another Road Trip To Get A XR6T

Well once again i will be travelling off to VIC this time to get another XR6T for another friend. For everyone who knows of my last trip i had a ball and got somp good pics along the way. This time no different, the team (Myself, ant (owner) and alan (ower of last one) ) will be leaving on friday to Melb airport and should be there around 8pm ish.

Gonna be great and yes i know its a ford and yes i know most wont like it but TUFF TITTIES!!!

Will update until i leave on friday and post up some pics and vids on my return on hoping to be sunday.

Stats wise last time we went from SA adelaide (city) back to the goldcoast it took 23and a bit hrs. Do the math time vs distance and hahahaha yeah. This time we will NOT be trying to go faster yet the plan is leave Melb airport at 9pm fri and be home for beers (and lots of them) by 9pm sat night. Possible - i thinkso. Will it happen - i hopeso but we will see.

Let the planning and fun begin!!!!

P.s no maps or showers or sleep overs will be done so we may get lost and end up smelling alot but aleast it will be done with friends and i know i can rely on someone in Vic / NSW / QLD to grab their commie and tow us home hahahahahaha

On the topic of Melbourne to Adelaide i've done it in around 10 hours, that was with only 2 quick stops. You however leaving at the time you are will take shit loads longer.................say hello to skippy for me

Melbourne to adelaide is an easy drive, 2 drivers can do it no problems. Ive done it with a car trailer in the rain once this year, and 2 or 3 last year, twice last year cos we got bored.

Nice choice on the XR6T, if i had the cash i would have a nice manual one in my driveway, but i dont, enjoy the trip

Good luck with the trip! It's a bit of a trek back to the Gold Coast from Melbourne (from your post I take it that's where you're going to). Why go so far for an XR6T though?

HAHAHAHAHA yes i am going to VIC and then we are driving back to Goldcoast (QLD) not SA. We got the first XR6T from SA. Reason for this is simple. He found the car he wanted with all the options he wanted for the right price. Plus its a excuse to leave the chicks behind and have a road trip and a piss up. Oh yeah. Plans have changed to we leave sat morning insted of fri. Al has a work party to go to so we will all just party fri night and go get it on sat and be back sun. For those who have been in a XR6T you should be able to understand that for what they are they are a fun ass car to drive. Ant going to try to get a portable DVD player for the trip so few movies and redbulls will be great!!!

I've done Sydney to Noosa Heads, Queensland in 12 hours (On my own).

Adelaide to Melbourne would have taken 7-8 hours max I would have thought... Even without drugs.

So last update before we leave. Time 6:15pm fri night. 6 beers to me and 4 to ant and the night is young. Hmmmmm kyms (ants wife) is up the duff and doesnt like the idea of us getting on the goon the night before we go get the car. She has big boobs. Like serious they are huge!!! Anyways.... Als not here yet hes at a chrissy party but will join us soon for a night of dirty women and tall drinks. Ant has a laptop, video camera and a PSP for the trip. I have a pillow, camera and a spare shirt. i will post up the video somehow when i get back and tell on the trials and tribulations of the XR6T ROad trip. We will be safe and mature on this trip but will try to have some fun on the way!!! Until monday see you then...
