Mechanics In Brisbane

Hey,

Just a question for the people in Brisbane. Basically, I have moved from Hervey Bay to Brisbane and need a reliable / reasonably priced mechanic to help me with a few problems I have got with my VN.

I've been to a few places around the Zillmere / Geebung / Aspley area and they seem a bit dodgey and far too expensive (I've got a leaking fuel tank and was quoted up in the Bay $80 to get it fixed, but I didn't have any cash at that stage, now down here the best price i got was $230)

Any help would be appreciated, as I'd like to get everything fixed before everyone starts closing up for Christmas.

depends where your at really, its probably too far away from you but my mechanic at slacks creek is great. they are really honest good mechanics and will take care of your car, its called logan city automotive which is on monte st in slacks creek.

Do you reckon they will come to the party if I tell em I saw them recommended on 'Just Commodores' website? Slacks creek is right near me, and I wouldnt mind a quote for changing the engine mounts, hell, even changing the diff too..... I will drop in and check em out.

lol, i doubt it. but they are good blokes down there, go have a chat to cliff and he'll sort out all your woes at a decent price.
i have my car in there all the time, not necessarily for repairs, more for all my mods...these blokes fitted up my stroker engine, my new performance trans, my roller rockers a while back, all the times ive broken my sway bar link pin bushes, lol, they practically replaced all my suspension when i bought my car too....not to mention services (im too lazy most times to do it).
im at the point now where cliff just gives me my keys back and says "drop round in a couple of days when ive sorted out the paperwork" he knows im not going to stiff him on the bill.

i go to Future Auto Service Centres at Rocklea on Fairfield road, its beside where I work. Ive spent over 10 grand there in the last year not including my current bill thats looking over 5 grand lol
