Holden Rodeo on Fire

I was driving to work this morning and noticed a big plume of smoke rising from the main street. As I kept driving, there was a Holden Rodeo sitting at the lights with smoke billowing out through the grill the sides of the bonnet. There was a guy running around with a fire extinguisher. I am guessing he was from the hotel on the corner. I had to drive around the block and take a couple of photo's, even if it meant being a few minutes late to work Don't see things like that every day, especially in Orange. I have attached a photo for your viewing pleasure.

Ahh crap, I meant to post this in the General section. That will teach me not to browse two forums at the same time.

I felt sorry for the bloke who owned it. I was going to pull over and see if he needed a hand but I saw the fire truck heading down the road so I figured they had it under control. The randomness of it all was pretty amusing if nothing else, especially if you live in Orange.

Somebody set the centre median strip grass/bushes on fire near my g/f's house last night

Pretty crazy, 3 cop cars and 2 firetrucks rocked up. The flames were pretty intense though, this just reminded me of that

Haha that reminds me of something my mate told me the other day. He is in the RAAF at Wagga Wagga and he owned a Nissan 300zx. Anyway he sold the car to one of his colleagues in the RAAF. The very day after he sold it, someone flicked a cigarette butt in a bush in the carpark which started a fire and melted the taillights on the car. Talk about bad timing for the buyer.
