    Default Damn mower men.

A few of you will remember, some months ago I posted about the blokes who cut our front lawns, & the one with the whipper snipper put it into a garden bed spraying the wagon with stones which resulted in the left cargo window being shattered.

Now, a couple who posted knocked me for not moving the car when I knew they were coming. Fair enough, but here's an update that makes doing that so hard.

All has been sweet & dandy until a couple of weeks ago. Up until then they had arrived sort of on time (about 1.30-2PM) like clockwork every 2nd Monday. Anyway, 3 Mondays ago they didn't turn up. I had gone out because I had expected them to arrive soon & do the lawn. Got back a couple of hours later to find they had not been. Ok, didn't think much more about it. Now, they were suppose to be here yesterday going by their usual regular timetable. Didn't show up, so I was going to cut the grass myself.

Low & behold, about 3/4 of an hour ago I'm sitting here & suddenly hear a mower going. Thinking that's close, I get up & look out the bedroom window & what do I see? The mower man riding the big council type ride-on doing my lawn! Never came to the door to say they were here, came about 5 hours earlier than usual, & on a day they have never done it before.

Geez some people give me the irrits.

Mate just cut your losses and put a dirty big sign out the front stating that they have to let you know before beginning, either that or smash some nice long rods into the ground so next time they come it will break their cut blades.

but being the council they probably don't have the brains to even read a sign.

Calais mate, I won't have to worry too much longer. It won't be long before I have my own house, & the car will be tucked up nice & snug in a lockup garage out of harms way.

Could you maybe go up to them and tell them you feel that their job attitude is poor like how they didn't inform you of them being there and showing up when they feel like it? Tell them how you feel and say to them you have lost a customer. Go somewhere else then!

That doesn't make any difference VSSPak. I can cut the lawn myself one day, & the very next day these blokes will come along do it again, even though it doesn't need doing.
