i wonder if that woman has any brains... apparently not with her going on about 'BLACK' South Africans coming into the country without proper health checks... You stupid mole, everyone who migrates to Australia have to have health checks, no matter what colour they are. She particularly focused on AIDS, which is a worldwide problem, not just in Africa. The way she was going on about it, she thinks that if someone who has AIDS touches someone else, that person will get it... *sighs* Shes nothing but a walking sensationalist headline. If the Australian public have any commen sense, she won't be let within 100kms of parliament.

Just another moron back in parliament yay...

The scary thing is, she actually has support... The fact that she has the IQ of a monkey and is as racist as they come seems to appeal to some people for some reason. I fear for the day that she ever gets any power in parliament.

Hate Pauline Hanson all you want, but she was ahead of her time. Maybe if she got into Parliament we wouldn't be having the ethnic problems we are having now. Count me in. I hope she does well.

the way i see it, she's actually saying what people think and immigration is an issue, but she's the first one to come out and say it and she's labeled racist - typical though she's white, anything a white person say's about anyone else is racist in this country.

i believe she might actually fix this issue and hope to god she does and it's done soon.

and about the black africans, well after seeing the news last night, she had not actually got a direct answer to say if the blacks do get tested like everyone else, ol sandra was left stranded on that one and quickly changed the subject, so it got me thinking do they ALL get tested, obviously not if they couldn't give a direct answer, because if they did it would have been a simple YES answer.

She wasn't ahead of her time, she's just a racist.

Now for every problem ethnic, just like every caucasian, you will have plenty of upstanding citizens. The difference here is that the media likes covering ethnic problems because it makes money, an assault by an caucasian male doesn't sell as many papers...

The majority of "problem ethnics" are actually born and bred in australia, their parent's are the immigrants, but they somehow feel a strong link to their homeland and all aussies are out to get them. With media coverage like the present who would blame them. The fact of the matter remains that there are bad seeds in every culture.

How would Pauline Hanson stop all the problems at the moment as a matter of interest? She'd kick them out of the country even though they're australian citizens? Yeah right.

She's an A Grade moron who appealed to racists around the country because she was stupid enough to be vocal about her racist feelings.

yes thats what i believe, also at the time she was being underminded by her...what do you call them (sorta like assistants) anyway they screwed her over.
btw wasn't she only saying that the aboriginals (if on dole) had to do the same as anyone else on the dole-look for work, but they didn't like that.

so if i was born in africa, but my parents are australian....does that make me an african simply because i was born there?? NO.

raising you hand, doing a test and saying a few lines does not make you an australian, i'd like to see someone go to japan or thailand gain citizanship, have a kid and then preach to all the locals how much of a true japanese/thai your kid is smply because he was born here... what do you think they would say.

It is racist whether you want to believe it or not. You don't see her talking about Poms coming into our country and getting put in our jails for crimes and wanting to send them home.... No its only ethnics or cultures who are not of caucasian origin.

If she only talked about tougher immigration laws as a whole, and tougher screening for criminals and diseases, then I'd have no issue with her. However her whole agenda revolves around race.

Or promote more hate between different ethnic groups in our country. The media does enough in this area, we don't need politicians doing it as well.

It shouldn't just be about black africans, it should be about immigrants from every country.

It makes you an african citizen if your parents are residents there. So technically yes it does.

But by that argument, my parents migrated here 40 years ago from england... Does that make me an Australian or a Pom?

The problem is people of all cultures immigrating to australia and not willing to accept australian culture. Not entire ethnic groups, which is basically the mentality of Pauline Hanson.

I know my kids do not get paid to go to school.
I know my wife (Nurse) had to pay for her degrees in full yet if she was on the darker side of colour she would have not only had her fees paid for but she would have had ALL her food, travel, books and anything else she wanted handed to her.

Like I said before.... It's about time she got back in.

    Pauline Hanson has my vote.

ROFL no mate she is behind the times. She would have been best suited when the white australia policy was in full swing. As far as I'm concerned everyone should have a chance. Why are stupid white people racist. Because being white is the only thing they didn't have to work for. If your lazy or upyour self I won't like you what ever your skin colour.

Imagine if you were black and trying to leave a war torn country for a better life and a new start? What would you think of someone like Pauline Hanson?

She is a racist bigot. If she really cared she would be talking about introducing systems to help aboriginal people become gainfully employed.

Most of the f**kheads I have met have been white.

The only problem is that people in this country are too bloody politically correct. Thats the only thing stopping Pauline Hanson getting anywhere in politics. Ever notice how everyones first defense is that she is "racist"? Why? Because she has the balls to be progressive and not simply let everything "sort itself out"? I think the majority of aussies out there would agree with what she is saying. If you listen carefully, she isn't racist, she is simply trying to improve the system. I can agree with her approach on Aboriginals as well. Why should they simply take my hard-earned taxes without giving anything back to the community? We have been supporting them like this for too bloody long and its time they were encouraged to work for their money like everyone else. That goes for the white dole bludgers as well.

well i'd say a pom if it were your parents, where as my ansestors were actually kicked out of england and sent here on a dirty ship, my main point of that was...they were KICKED out of england, exiled you could say, but being 6th generation and my ansestors being some of the first here i consider myself true australian. plus my great grandad was in the first world war fighting for australia, and my grandad was in the 2nd WW fighting for australia.

i don't believe someone's parents rocking up, having a kid then saying yes there 100% aussie, no there f^&king not, as much as you want to believe it it's not the case, you parents are pom your pom, your parents are jap's then your a jap.

My partner was persecuted for having curly dark hair when all the other kids in her class had blonde hair. She was white like all the other kids though. She was thrown down a flight of stairs and to this day still has problems with her knees and ankles. Is this fair. Couldn't have said it better myself.

Racist white ********s are just as big a part of the problem as these minority ethnic groups causing trouble, in fact dare I say, they are a bigger part of the problem.

Employ the policies of these guys, it was alot more effective than any politician.

I do not condone her behaviour, but she does have some valid points.

I think our issue as austalians lies in the fact that we believe that to get well treated in australia all you have to do is not be an australian. We are in a country where we are tied down by the racist tag and as a result we cannot argue when people from other nations get what they want because it is seen as racist. I don't like Pauline Hanson, but it seems to me that alot of Australians see this as their only opportunity to actually have a say as to who comes into this country and equalising the rights. I don't care if you are black, white or green, but don't come to our country expecting special treatment.

Legally yes, and if I lived in Africa all my life, then most certainly I'd be an African...

What a load of shit, my parents lived here for 15 years before I was born, and I've visited england once in my life, I have a thick aussie accent, say gday mate, support australia in the ashes and as aussie as they come, yet because my parents were born somewhere else, I'm affiliated to that country for life, even though I have no friends nor have I ever lived in that country.... That is one of the most idiotic notions I've ever read in my life.

Suppose one of my parents was american, one english, but I've never visited either country and lived in Australia all my life... What nationality would I be then ?

If you're an Australian Citizen, you're an Australian, you've pledged allegiance to Australia... End of story.

The racism in australia is practically non-existant in comparison to countries such as the US.

Most immigrants come to this country not expecting any special treatment, but just because their origins may not lie in australia Pauline Hanson thinks we have every right to persecute them.

I agree with some of her points on Aboriginal Policies, but the vast majority of her policies are racist dribble.
