If its a computer based drivers' test, it would take a heck of a lot of effort to explain if you did run into a pole .

ah but i said wait till you hit 21 ( then they party is on ) but dont hit a pole ( when you get your P's etc etc )

as for PC based test, ah yeah they've changed so much it isnt funny anymore. when i went for it,

"multi choise questions for Phase1 L's"
"after some time ( possible of 5mins if you really want ) practical driving assessment for phase 2's"
"after 23 or something log booked hours, computer hazard perception test for P's"
"P-plates for two years, then full license"

pretty confused.

Sounds even more confusing to me Patrio7. When I started this licence getting business back in the early 70's in Sydney, all I had to do was go in, fill out a form, pay the fee & get my learners. Did the driving bit with the instructor, learnt the answers to the road rule questions, then went for my Ps on my 17th birthday, & passed both the oral & driving tests with flying colours.
Only ended up answering about 8 out of the 30 or so questions because I was answering them before the tester even finished asking them, so he figured it was no point continuing. hehe. I even quoted word for word what was written on both front & back inside covers of the road rules book. He was quite impress with that, as I was the first person he'd known who even had any idea what they had written on them. hehe.

Even easier was getting my motorbike licence in Ipswich, Qld a couple of years later. No questions & just had to ride down the street, turn left, go to the next intersection, turn around & go back to the test station. By the time I got back, the tester was already inside changing the endorsment on the licence to include motorbikes.

went i went for my L's 15 years ago the copper asked me what do you do at a stop sign and dont say pull up. Then he said he would see me the next day for my p's test as he had been watching me drive around for years.
Also i would hate to have to get a licence these days cause things are just gettin harder and harder.
