well i got a interview with a company for my apprenticeship on monday. So if i pass this i will become a apprentice in automotive spray painting

be prepared, if they ask about certain experiences ( have you ever yada yada ) cite examples, be ready for the most out there / tricky question they throw at you, remain calm and should be all good

well there was a panel of 3 people and they just had sheets of paper with questions and they took it in turns in taking questions, questions i got where, Why would you like this job?, What would you contibute to working here? What qualities do you display? Whats your understanding of OH & S? Are you prepared for working in confined, smelling places? Are you prepared for overtime? Are you committed to going to tafe. thats about as much as i can remember. I didn't have to identify any parts of a car aswell.

thanks guys. I just read a thing they sent me its only for a induction course, and if i pass the interview i attend this inductio course for 4 weeks and then this is used to get the apprenticeship. Quite a set back but ill get there. P.S thanks to moderations i dont know when this post will be shown

well just finished went quite well actually, the guy was good to talk too. He told me he will phone up a few places for a apprenticeship and he said that even if i dont just come back and do a course.

havent updated this but.... after being fooled around with mita i left the mita idea in the dust and got a job at a painter... im on trial for now but he reckons if i learn quick enough i will get the apprenticeship
