its to do with your reputation points...

you go from hitchhiker to exec,berlina,calais etc

its your reputation, people can click the little scales in the top right hand corner of your post and then approve or disapprove of your post, if they approve your rep points go up and you eventually go up levels

You start of at Executive with 10 points. The points you can give and take depending on how much rep you have. Being Hitchhiker, you must have recieved some bad rep. You can see what rep you have been given in your User CP. In there, the red dots represent bad rep, and the green one's represent good. If there is a grey one, it just means that the user that left the rep didn't have sufficient rep to effect your rep.

If you get good rep, for every 20 points you go up a level. Executive, Berlina, Calais, Statesman, Caprice etc. After you recieve 100 points of rep you get another green dot.

Unless they have changed it since I joined, you start off at 10. Thats why a lot of new users ask to see why they can't see the rep they been left when they go to their user CP and see they have 10 points but no rep comments.

Posts dont count towards your post count from the Pub, Jokes/Humor or the Shout Out sections.
