Need a quick hand with a 95 barina

Have a friend whos 1.3L 1995 model and im looking for a service page on how the drive blets go. Im assuming there is 2 from what i have seen and also the thing wont start with out the belts but i was assuming that it could still start but it would heat up. When i took the air filter cover off there was oil in the pan so to speak. I know this isnt norm so what could it be.? Ill be fitting the belts tomorrow just would like to know im putting them on right. Any help would be great...

Well I'm probably no help. But your saying oil is coming out of the air filter? Did they say what it was doing before it crapped itself? If it's efi it should produce error codes same as the commies look for same diagnostic stuff. And it's a barina not a rebadged suzi (first couple of barinas were just suzuki swifts with the badges changed don't know what year they swapped to opels).

Nah its a carby and the oil looks like its come up thru the carbie? But didnt think it was possible? I just need pics of how the belts go on so any help would be great?

Yeah i just want a pic and i have gone to a frw swift ones and cant find a barina one (prolly coz they sh!t) and no joy. I have a idea on how they go. No doubt ill get it right but not my car and wouldnt want to stuff it up for the poor bugger. Cheer yall

They were Suzuki up until 1993 I think.

From then on, they were Opels.

can you get some photos up. Look in the pre vl area maybe has a similar problem with a carby engine.
