    Hey guys.. we need to get a ute thread started up for us guys in the Aussie trademarks!! Any moderators out there? ;-)

    And what would we post in this thread that we can't in the others?

    Being a ute owner I can get all my info and questions answered across the whole site.

    EDIT: btw am moving this thread to the pub. Consider it chit chat about utes for now. Any technical stuff should go in the relevant model section. Any majory OT stuff will be removed.......

    yeh its called gravel rash from falling out the back of their utes

    see us wagon boys dont get gravel rash... just carpet burn from ****ing in the back of ours

    Utes are useful for some things....

    some are illegal some arent.
    Some people say less talk more action, i say more torque less traction.

    ute thread would be ok....duno wat we would put in it though.

    Yeah a ute section would be ok. There are some technical things that are different between utes, sedans and wagons.

    For example, I have a base model column shift auto that I want to convert to the floor-mounted auto variety. So that stuff could go in there (heater, stereo, auto controls, handbrake, etc).

    Also, we have (can have) completely different bcm's which don't support some luxury items (power windows etc).

    Rear suspension is different, location of some items are different.

    It is true that I have got everything I need from the general vn,vp,vr,vs forum but still, we NEED to feel special! That's just the kind of guys we are

    Yes I own a ute, and no I wont help you move house

    Im in for a ute forum, although I am all for one on the Wagons and Sedans

    Aslong as its "Commodore" its good enought for me
