    Default Shane Warne to retire?

So you think it is true?
    I
guessed this may happen quite a few weeks ago when we seen Shane and his ex wife in the city. I think he may of realised that nothing can beat having a family. I am only speculating on why i think he may retire.

It will be great to see him go out as a champion still rather then fade away and keep selection because of a name.

I am now even more happy that i have a pass to all 5 days of the boxing day test. To see the worlds greatest bowler retire in one of the worlds greatest sporting arenas will be amazing(if he does retire).

Thanks for the entertaining and fascinating cricket Shane

Probably be a fitting way to retire, 700th wicket on home turf, huge hand in helping Australia regain the Ashes, I think he has done more than enough to prove his skills
If ignorance is bliss why aren't there more happy people around ?

Indeed and best thing is he hasnt taken almost 200 of his wickets against countries like bangladesh and zimbabwe unlike a certain chucker.

Im pretty sure Warney announced he would be retiring after the ashes series at the end of last summer. Lets all hope he changes his mind cos I reckon he;s got a couple more years in him

I hope he doesn't retire. His recent form has been the best of his career and nobody has a spin bowler to match him yet. I doubt we will ever get a bowler as good as Shane for a long time.

Right...if you even half follow cricket you would know that Australia has more talent coming through the ranks than any other country in the world.

Yep I agree, but Australia does have some good young up and comers, and if warney does retire Macgill might get a chance to step up and show us what he has got.

The word is that Mcgrath is also going to retire, We loose two of the best in the world at the same time - that will be a shame.

This is true, but most of that talent is getting no match time at an international level. If a whole block of the current team retire in a close period of time you can pretty much guarantee that the new fella's will have some teething problems and their performance will suffer for quite some time.

Luke Duke: You mean you're gonna make sweet love IN it.
Beau Duke: Oh no, I'm gonna have sex with it.

Tait wont ever make the team.

There are alot of players out there that are training with Australia to prime them up.

Personally now the Ashes are back, people should be rested to let 2 or 3 young ones in.
