Usually against permanent punishment but in his case i think perhaps it'll be some closure to many people. Maybe he should be put through some of the things he ordered done to others....

I do wonder at times though, are George Bush and all his followers much better than Sadam's mob. After all hasn't George Bush organised the military to go over to Iraq and kill heaps of people,many of them could have been anti Sadam followers that were killed. So isnt Bush just as bad.

This could go either way. His supporters could make a martyer of him and become even more violent or the people he allegedly oppressed will no longer fear him and come out and stand up to what is left of his regime.

As for the punishment itself, i think it is a joke that one man is put to death for what he did when the US, UK and even Australia have and are doing the exact same thing, the only difference is we call it fighting for freedom.

I do not disagree with the war in Iraq, not by a longshot, what i do disagree with is hypocrisy.

These countries have never wanted democracy, in fact they have survived for thousands of years by keeping things easy, he who has power wins and decides.

Although it sounds like a conspiracy Theory, i agree. Look at how Bin Laden was treated at a US hospital in Pakistan border area. These people need to be around to justify military spending to large countries.

There is no point in kelling someone... it proves nothing to anyone. Life in jail is worse id reckon... With death, it all over too soon... but besides that... will probably casue an adverse reaction and im sure more terrosit attacks.. what ever they are anyway...

If this conspiracy that Saddam is dead then the little terrorists back at his home land are going to be running round and voting for a new leader to do even more deadly things. On the other hand they could have "said" they have hanged Saddam to see if a new leader would rise up and grab him/her as well...really its all a blur and nobody knows the truth except the people involved. I wouldnt believe the media even if i was paid to. One thing you dont see is all the suffering in Iraq... all ive heard is that they are retaliating because of the US of A. No one country is free from guilt but at least they have started to weed out the people ording the killings. Getting a gun doesnt mean u have to use it. He chose to order people to be killing and as far as we know killed and tortured a few himself. I believe if you kill then you desever the same. Eye for a eye when it comes to cold blooded murder.
