After a 6 year on and off relationship, me and my ex have 'decided' (my decision after giving her so many chances only to have it thrown back in my face every time) to end it once and for all. Pretty good timing hey? Just after christmas and just before New Year. Blah! we'd been 'on break' for a while, but now it's officially over.

We've had our fair share of messy break ups, so this time I said that I cant continue talking to her anymore. She's already called me since .

Anyway, after 6 years, and only being 19 anyway, it kinda sucks. Just needed to vent I suppose.

mate, its not bad at all i just came home not long ago at 4am(like usual).... if i had a misses i could garentee i would of got a couple of phone calls during that time, save money on those anniversary presents, birthdays, xmas.... so much money that can be used somewhere else... and dont worry about her, ive learnt now dont go chasing the women, let them come to you then you concider your options.... works for me, anyways try not 2 let it get to you, you just have to remember. some women just aint worth it and she obviously kept shitting in your face so i guess she aint worth it go have fun, get a nice girl eventually and yeah you get the idea..... Getting married when you're young can also backfire on you.
My cousin got married back in 2003, they've already seperated.
I got engaged when i was 21, married at 24, father at 25 and 27.
I don't regret one moment of it but it was never a plan to do it all while i was young, it just happened to work out that way for me.
I'd take a break for a while and enjoy yourself, hopefully with this girl you like!

Mate once your married kids come along, once kids come along, all freedom is gone. People rush into marriage now and most end up never being able to own a home etc.
Instead of rushing to get married rush to get a home, rush to pay it off.

i suppose its better to have a break-up when young and single .... i got married young, had kids young .... then 20 years later my ex decided she wanted a divorce .... so for me to keep the house cost me $50,000 debt .... can you believe she got 50% of my super, 50% of my 3 months unused holidays ...

minux, I know all that. But I'm willing to give it all up for a nice girl n have a nice little family. Plus I love kids, I'm still a kid at heart. It will give me an excuse to buy toys for myself lol. As for owning a house, as it stands at the moment, we will be pulling down my dads house, rebuilding, and that will be mine (as it stands now, things have a habbit of changing though )

NOGEN 3 I'm sorry to hear all that mate, hopefully all turns out well for you and the kids and hopefully the missus gets better too.

My ex hates all my friends and intrests, all my friends hate her and I really don't like any of her intrest (Those lane way type rave parties where all she does is take stuff). Our convos never lasted for more than 10 minutes yet we were on the phone or just sitting watching tv for hours on end. She really took a lot out of me. I couldn't even begin to imagine what you must have gone through mate, but I kind of understand where you're coming from.

Bwahahah, you need to ask? Lemme give you a hint, it's generally done horizontally. Many a relationship has been based on this sole activity, and most of the ones I've seen have failed.

I'm a bit negative about this sort of thing, but it's just so sad to see people putting themselves and others through the sort of pain that comes out of a relationship that was doomed to failure from the beginning. The worst thing is that I'm no better, hell I've never even had a "girlfriend" most girls get to know me and then run a mile and end up with some useless weirdo who I'd glady remove from the genepool, but apparently is a better bet than me. In a way I've gotta give guys like Mike and Nogen3 respect for trying so hard to do right, but still ya gotta admit for both of you the situation was/is less than ideal.
