After just spending $10 for a wash and a few other bucks completely vaccing the car out.. I drive home, to get changed ready to go out with mates.. and the Harmonic ****ing balancer dies.

Service: due in 2 weeks, got oils/filters coming in
Harmonic Balancer: Anyone want a VR commodore, needs new harmonic balancer, slight panel work.. AS IS.

harmonic balencer and cam bearings seem to be an issue in the VRs, i just hope for my sake my GFs one doesnt die, its making a bit of noise now...

Ouch, must be the week for Commodore breakdowns, my wagz spat the bottom radiator hose yesterday on the way to work, luckily was able to pull it over immediately and shut it off without any damage..
Certainly spoils your weekend when something like that happens on a Friday

Well.. car was limped (50k/h or less) to the mechanics today. FINALLY getting my service/auto service and harmonic being fixed

it's all good trent, at any stage in your life you will experiance what your going threw, a broken car, need car to get to work, need work to fix car, cant get to work cause car is broken. it's a vicious cycle. you will find a way, i have been in the same spot as you have been, worked out for me, it will for you also.

Yeah i had the VR mine went well may not have completely went was still able to drive but in the crap traffic on the Bruce Highway stop start stop stop start it kept stalling. Was heading to Bundy from Brissy on a friday arvo. Made it to bundy dad had a look and said i need a new one straight away thought crap gonna be stuck here for days cos places open in Bundy on weekends dont mix. But anyway managed to score adn whack it in in around a 1.5 hours or there abouts. Was crapping thinking i would never get back to Brissy for work. Prob not a bad thing tho.

uhm.. I don't drive my car hard around noble park mate... far too many ****ing cops there for my liking just waiting to take ya license away.. not to mention the padestrians on the road.
My car wasn't on the road last weekend.
