my grandfather has a ZH fairlane, which is to be honest a rusted out peice of shit, there is so much rust, it would easily be called a write off, the only salvigable gaurd would be the bonnet, but hears the thing. It has a 351 cleavland in it which was rebuilt only 100,000kms ago.

now i am going to take the car soon, and drop the running gear it into a rolling shell, just wondering what shell you reckon i should put it in, i want one where basically i can fix a few rust spots, re appolster the seats put a new coat of paint and drive it away.. i was thinking a XB, XA, mabey another zh or zg fairlane, or even a cheap mustang if i could find one, just wondering what you guys think i should drop it into. also up for totally different seggestions than the ones i have already made.

put it in a trailer and drive it to the tip lmao. nah yeah xy would be nice i personally like xr xt falcons the ones with the round rear tail lights they look nice just dont put it in a holden that would be a waste of a good rolling shell

351 should go in a '69 MKII GT Cortina definetly, they fly with them or maybe a RS2000 Escort

Corty for sure. Or you could get a cheap xd/xe shell, dump it low with fat tyres and good paint with maybe a hillborne scoop and itll turn heads for a cheap price.

Ahahaha, it's been done but it's a tight fit. Personally I'd reccomend finding a 6cyl fairlane or falcon of a similar vintage at the right price and transplanting it into that.
