Hi, Can anyone recommend me a very good car loan with reasonably low interest rate?
Because I need to borrow at least $4000 to get me a nice example of VT Berlina with low k's as I'm gonna keep the car for a long time.
And any other advice would be really great as I'm inexperienced when it come to buying a car. I don't care if its private or dealer either way I need a good car with low k's like around 130,000ks.
I'm willing to spend between 9 grand and 11 grand, depends on the situation.
Thanks a lot in advance guys!!!!

Don't know if you have got Heritage down there but I'm with them and they're good. Make sure if you want to put in extra in the repayments you're not penalised. My mate uses Bendigo for his loan he thinks's they're good. Shop around could save yourself a lot in the long run. Interest rates won't go down soon so make sure you get a fixed rate loan. Buy private as well about 3k cheaper. And warranty from dealers aint worth squat.
<davy> remember when braveheart came out and everyone said you can't have mel gibson playing a scottish guy cuz it wont be realistic?
<davy> well look at him now

Which state you in? If SA either PCU or Savings Loans are the two i'd recommend.
I'm in Victoria in the south/east suburbs.
go aussie car loans, there national but based in vic, variable or fixed rates, watever ur situation.really freindly ppl.and fast.
Make sure you can pay it out early without penalties, otherwise they'll hit you up for a % of the lost interest due to the early payout. Going with a reputable lender is always safer.
But I've always been told, if its not for a business car then save harder, and don't get a loan for a personal car. It will ALWAYS cost you a LOT more. You can claim the interest with a business vehicle and the business pays for the loan.
But in saying that as long as you can afford it it will give you a good credit rating towards bigger purchases in the future. Good Luck with it.
Typically you will be given the interest rate that your credit deserves.
Do buy from a dealership....but a BIG one that has a ton of new and used cars. They tend to spend more on the reconditioning of their vehicles plus they must disclose what ever is wrong with the vehicle and make it roadworthy beforer you take delivery of it.
If the car already come with road worthy cert from a private sale do I still have to get it to road worthy??. And also selling my vs acclaim is going to help me buy the car but one problem is that I cannot be without car even for one day, so will the private seller can 'hold' the car for me while I sell my VS. Even if I deposit some amount to them????
Thanks sorry about so many Q's I wanna make sure things go smoothly.
One option there is to borrow more money than you need. Sell your current car after you have the new one and use the proceeds to go straight back into paying off the loan.
RWC is valid for 30 days from inspection so providing it's within 30 days you're fine, just need the vehicle registration transfer form and your copy of the RWC and you're set, don't forget you will have stamp duty to pay on the value of the car as well
Most private sellers would happily hold a car for a couple of days if you leave a deposit but make sure you get a receipt from them
Good luck with the purchase !!

on a legal point, how do u legaly write a receipt? who has to sign? how dus it have to be worded etc??
Really, if you only need 4 grand, you will have trouble getting a loan for such a small amount. The best option would be to get a low interest rate credit car, such as commonwealth banks yellow card, or any other card with about 10% interest. You will be paying less interest on the card that you would on such a small loan, and there is no limit as to how much you can pay back unlike a loan.

If the private seller hold the car couple of days, I don't think that will be enough time for me to sell my current car as I'm more towards private sale than giving it to the dealers. The car is excellent condition and I'm looking/need at least $4500 profit from my current car.
It probably varies from seller to seller but I'm sure if you give them a deposit they would hold on to the car for a reasonable time frame for you..

better of letting this one go and save your arse off. the interest and carry-on associated with borrowing such a small amount really isn't worth it.
