The Holden Heritage. It has the 5,000,000 commodore on the front but the photo is too small to read the small print. I want to know if it sayes the production date.

Many times. They must think I'm a pest by now. Just bugs me not knowing.

I've tried many email addresses - some bounce back as no good - the others must be tooo busy. (if you get 50 emails a day it soon piles up)

Anyone have a good contact in the HOLDEN establishment that may return info?

try birdwod motor musem they sold a book called the holden heriage 50th anniversary in 2000, it goes through all the different models and it has that pic that u mention, now do u want the production date of the 5,000,000th commodore? it was 18th of december 1989.

i have an updated version of that book. two in fact..

the picture you have posted is not the 5 millionth commodore, it is 5 millionth holden which was built (and as it reads in the picture you posted) is 29th of august 1989

You are correct it is the 5,000,000 Holden not Commodore and thanks for taking the time to do a scan.

Bugga me! I won a copy on Ebay for $10.00. Some times ya just r as lucky as!

Probably only cost $5.00 new.
