I've found eBay is a waste of time these days, too many people buying stuff for more than you can pay in the shops... strange people out there.
I've been thinking of buying a wrecked vn s2 manual from the auctions, sticking the manual in my vs and possibly wrecking the vn. But dunno how much they would really go for at auction.
Missed out on a "recon" manual from an s1 (had everything minus the 8bolt flywheel for s2-> of course, which are hard to come by apparently) from eBay, went for $310.

hehe series two fly wheel, i was lucky with getting one. put a want it now posting and sum guy saw it on google. got a vr manual fly wheel in near new condition with courier costs for 170. the only one i found under 250 bucks

Got a p4 2.6g 1g ram geoforce 4 audigy 2 with front panel 120g sata hdrv custom see thru side case with neons and neon fan with Xp pro service pak2 (legit) 3yrs ago for $100!!!! (all up the guy paid 5thou 4 it)

I bought a Hilux 4WD 1985 SR5 extra cab with wide wheels bullbar canopy for $1900 and sold the canopy for $400. The bloke i bought it off thought the motor was worn out because it was using a lot of oil, but it was only the timing cover gasket leaking. I found the previous owner and talked to him about it and he said the motor had just had new rings and bearings and the head done up. I also bought a Weber carby for it at a garage sale for $10

I got my bodykit for $850
Full genuine holden VXSS kit, front and rear bumpers, side skirts, spoiler, boot garnish, mudflps, all screws and mounting clips etc. Was already painted white which matched my car perfect. Bloke i got it off got it 4 a project, and had only fitted it on the car once, to see what it looked like as there was no motor in it at the time. Not a mark on it anywhere.
Was a nice bloke, had to sell it cos he needed the money for medical reasons. Poor bugger, he said he was glad I bought it cos he said he knew id appreciate it. Said it cost $800 alone to have it painted.
