    Default GMH Working Days

Does any one know what number of days GMH works eg Monday to Friday or 6 days, or 7 days a week. I know they had a 3rd shift for a while but do they work 5 6 or 7 days a week?

They work a 5 day week. Saturdays and sometimes sundays are for overtime if they fall far enough behind. Very rare at the moment but with the new deal with pontiac (Pontiac G8) hopefully more overtime will come through. There is and will not be a third shift even withe the VE being sent to the usa, that deal just gives better job security for the two shifts. Hope this answers your question.

Knock Down = in a box basicly - to be assembled over seas.

I'm looking for first and last production VIN numbers for the VL/VN & VN/VP

But then the search spun out of control and became a 'monster' for all the production numbers for Holden from 1 to 6,000,000+.

So any scraps of info on Holden is good.

Actual serial numbers like VN L296684 built on 26/08/88.

But what was the first VN s/n? I have 1 from Red book prices of 270200 and one from recall info of 273500. but main production numbers look like starting around 294### ish.

I have the Holden production numbers from Holden Heritage book 2004.

    Thats on Holdens web page.

I dont have WL's production number yet.

Hahaha, Thats where i'm getting these figures from. My dad works there and gets the books for nothing. Love'm, good source of info, not sure how many i got of them but i do have one from each year. I think i got last years but not sure, might have to have a look for it.

This is a bit off topic but noticed your sig says you got a VN with climate. Did you put that in? Got any info, pics or tips you can give me. I'm doing heaps of research on this and want as much info as i can get. Cheers.
