Our local wrecking yards don't really stock these beasts, so I'm calling on a favour from all you southerners.
If you see a Honda prelude, come back here and let me know, I'm chasing parts, preferably Southern QLD, NSW's. Any further and I'd nearly but it new.
Not sure on the year of model just yet, but its old, between 88-92 somewhere I think. I'll need seatbelt, maybe steering rack and maybe automatic/manual gearbox.
Are you brisbane? I'm going to Toowoomba I'll keep an eye out for ya.
<davy> remember when braveheart came out and everyone said you can't have mel gibson playing a scottish guy cuz it wont be realistic?
<davy> well look at him now
<davy> an alcoholic racist
Nah I'm in Rocky, unfortunately the wreckers around here just have an abundance of commodores/ falcons and anything else your pushing it. And thanks - Hopefully the auto will survive with a change of fluid, and hopefully the steering rack will feel better after some new fluid aswell. I don't want to replace too much as its my brothers car and I won't get the cash back, but I'll see what I can do for me to drive it without worrying about defective cars.
k ill tell you how to fix all your honda problems, get into the honda, start the honda, drive the honda off a cliff...... hey presto!! no more honda problems
now if only everyone with a honda would get rid of them the world of motoring would be less noisey and i would see less type R stickers on stock standard integras
Japanese scientists have created a camera with such speed that they now can photograph a woman with her mouth shut!
Ahh mate you're a few months too slow... my partner used to have an 85 Prelude and sold it to the wreckers for $100... this was in Brisbane though

Might want to realise that a Honda prelude isn't rice - until its kitted - given a 4" cannon and neons.
Civic - Integra - two honda's I don't like.
The Accord, the Prelude, and the NSX, I'd gladly own any day of the week.
Especially the NSX.
I've got some spares for it, I'm going to try and pull some bits off it tonight and give it a tidy up, engine bay clean and some oil.
Turns out Honda wants 500 for the genuine seatbelt and connection.
Getting it for 50, I think it comes my way tomorrow. Should be driving the car on the weekend, monday at the latest.
