Default idiot leaves a dent in my car, not happy

oh god i am so F***ING pissed!!
Friday nite, i took my mate driving round, and we went to pic up my brother. then this idiot in a VP starts driving next to us, yelling abuse at my mate, tellin us to pull the car over. he drives ahead to cut us off, and i slam the brakes, trying to bo a u-bolt in the middle of the overpass, but got blocked by the barriers.
this **** head gets out the car, runs over to us, leans in my passenger window and cracks my mate one across the face. lucky i stopped it it or he woulda kept goin...
reported it to the cops, the the next day i find a dent in my pasenger door where the bas***d lent into it and, yeah
its probably a case of just popping it out, but being at skool, in yr 12, with limited cash, i dont have the luxury of time and money to get this thing sorted at the moment and at the moment, i dont need another headache. and when i took it to the cops, they said that depending on the severity that the crash repairer determines, thats how they judge if they add to the charge.
i no the dent is only small and not deep, but it ****s me to tears to think we have F*** heads like this walking out streets
ok, better cool off now, do some homework, play with the poodle, wotever, just take my mind off it

    thanks guys
apparently mi mate went in with another frend 2 buy a pack of cigs, guy worked there asked for id, even tho he knew his frend was over 18. came back with id and mi mate laughed at the fact he knew he was over 18, but still wanted to see id... came out after him and gave him a mouthful, even tho it was so stupid to get pissed about
oh man, wen i stopped him, he looked as if wanted to king hit me next, then he pissed off, lol he was shorter than me, but he was a fat bloke, woulda pounded me to mince.
thanx guys, will keep ya posted

so you can't afford to get it fixed but you can afford to cruise around with your mate. i hope centrelink (aka my tax) isn't funding you in any way at all.

claiming you are out for revenge doesn't increase your chances of sounding intelligent either. just 'mi' opinion.

i dont get it, so the dude who chased u and belted ur mate is the dude that works at the servo who u laughed at when he asked for i.d?

man im confused.. i had an incident the same, dude chased me and a car full of mates, i was driving, he reckons i tried to run his kid over with my car (i just cut the corner, car full of people, less body roll ahhahah) and yer, i got belted 4 times, lost a tooth before my mates jumped out... pretty long story but yer

My point was he said he was in year 12 so he would not be funded by centerlink.

unless it different in south aus, centrelink will essentially pay for your education, because my parents make 2/5 of stuff all, i received youth allowance from like yr8 to yr 12 or something.(note, i was lucky to see $20 a week, as it all went to the parents to pay for food and clothes)

I beg to differ. Heard of Youth Allowance? It's a payment made to youth over the age of 15 who are studying full time still. Depending on parental income he may be on a full or part allowance.

We have clients on our books on New Start Allowance who are doing Year 12 as mature age. For all you know he is in his 20's doing his SACE on the dole. As Hakhawk said, we also pay for their education or contribute to their books, from Government money.

Don't worry mate, I'm a pussy as well haha. It take's a lot to get me stirred up enuf to want to get physical....altho one night a few years back some dudes in a panelvan was giving my mate ****...as i was the passenger in his car I pulled out a baseball bat and hung it out the window, as soon as my mate saw it tho he slowed down coz he knew if we got any closer to the panel van (we were driving side by side) I would of started belting the side in. It's funny tho coz my best mate had heaps of enemies, and now that I don't hang around him much I'm mates with them all haha.

And how the hell could u not turn around on the overpass? That's a 4 lane road, ringies can easilly be done without even coming close to the sides.....not that I've tried, just using it as an example that's all

Also, who was the guy, and wat VP was it? (Wat colour, wat wheels etc etc...just curious)

Centrelink (aka your tax) supplements my income and hence my petrol money when shifts at work are scarce. (Not a common occurrence but it does happen) I hope this isn't a problem for you, if it is I will of course cancel my youth allowance immediately and walk 50km from home to uni every day. For an educated and usually reasonable fella you really do have some odd moments.
Beau Duke: Man, I'm never gonna get outta this car again. I'm gonna live in it, I'm gonna eat in it and I'm gonna make sweet love to it!
Luke Duke: You mean you're gonna make sweet love IN it.
Beau Duke: Oh no, I'm gonna have sex with it.

That was pretty uncalled for... He said he cant afford to get it fixed... that doesnt mean he doesnt have a job... All it means is he cant afford to get it fixed.. full stop.

He didnt say anything about being unemployed, he didnt say anything about recieving payments from the government...

I dont have a job, I've never recieved a cent from centerlink or anywhere neither have my parents because apparently my dad earns too much, even though I dont even live with him... thats a whole different story though... But if something like that happend to me.. I doubt i'd be able to afford it, coz whatever money I have OF MY OWN saved up goes towards my cruising, or eating, or going out n having fun... Not one cent of what I spend comes from your taxes, neither does one cent of what cruzin calais spends on crusing or whatever else...

All I'm saying is it didn't need to be said, because it really doesnt sound very friendly at all

Now, back to the topic at hand, hope its all sorted, n hope ya get your door fixed soon too. Don't go getting revenge either, not over something like that.

    But wait... There's more!!

    But that's not all!!!

Yeh cruzn calais i can empathise~ i got dragged outta my car and beaten down by three pplz~ REAL FAIR! 3 on one. lol because i overtook them when they were parked on the side ov the road. The worse thing is they were in a commodore i carry a clublock now, as it isnt illegal to have in my car (concealed weapon laws). Im a pussy and avoid fights but it aint worth being killed or beaten to a coma by sum crazy person~ if the dints small u can buy a plunger type dent remover thingy from super cheap for $10-$20.

TT, why do they let morons drive commodores? its just so sad, they should never have that pleasure or privelage
Mike, i'd nevr go out for revenge, im all bloody talk, no action i just hope the assault charge pulls through then i'l be satisfied.
1 thing im hopin is the guy didn't take note of the car or the plates...could make cruisin on fridays interesting if he did, bu ti heard he was preoccupied with a family matter that day, and prob wouldn't have taken notice
    *fingers crossed* lol

mate dont worry about it, and why didnt you have a club lock in there? and no point getting revenge and chasing him BUT if he comes to you, show him you dont take **** from anybody (even if you do take ****)... and hope you get your door fixed soon....

btw i get youth allowance and i go to tafe now. (WOO WOO RMIT!) and my way of calming down even when i was at school is going for a drive and going out with mates. and i dont count it as any body else's money im spending... i count it as mine that i will be paying when im working for the next 40 years.

as it did for me too when i lived 45kms from uni and travelled everyday. i am happy to supplement your struggle through uni, i feel your pain, i did it too.like i said, the connection i was making was between the 'struggle' to survive on no money but still making it available to spend on cruising. i just dont like hearing people whine about no money when they use it in less meaningful ways.neverthe less it was a crappy incident and i hope the person who did it gets busted.
