hi ppl, ive wanted to find out the real deal in regards to spd cameras and ther optimim distance of detection.mates of mine reckon for the spd camra(white vans)detect from about 300-400 mtrs away, does this sound rite? and with radar guns its way shorter about 100mtrs.anyone have any idea as to the real distance and accuracy of these figures.just wuld be helpful for everyone to kno these things, not that speeding is condonedbut 10kms over isnt murder is it?!
I can tell you when they got me 6 weeks ago 80 in a 60 zone they reckon they had me on the radar 745m thats with a handheld radar its even writen on the ticket.
