need a licence question answered from a vic member

hey all its 100% official that i leave for the navy in 13 days! .. but for the question... i will be changing my licence to a VIC one from a nsw one... im able to get my nsw open licence in april, does vic have a test for going from p2 to opens? nsw does, qld dosnt, wonderin what u guys have? u guys also get ur p plates later than us will i still be able to get my vic opens if i change?

well as far as im aware, you have to hold your p's for 3 yrs down here, so i reckon youll have to wait till your 21 or had you licence 3 years before you can get a full vic licence...

You will have to have held a Probationary license for 3 years to get a full one down here, which im not sure how they will work out since you have the two different structures.
I would either email or ring VicRoads, they'll know.

ok cheers guys ive had my p's for 3 yrs...what about the test? is there one in vic for p-open?
