As the tites suggests do you have a haunted house?

let me tell you my story, the house that i live in now i have been in since 1993 and a lot of stuff has gone down since then!

when i was little me and my brother and sister used to sleep upstairs ( its a 2 storey ) and none of us would go upstairs unless my mum or dad turned on the lights first we never really knew why but we hated it.

in 1995 my fathers dog of 18 years got put down because of athritis in his back legs and my dad spent most of the night drinking in the study, one week later at night i went in the to go on the computer, i opened the door and before i turned on the light i saw ben sitting there with that wierd look that dogs get in there eyes when its really dark, ever since then that room never goes above 18*c.

in 1999 some friends of mine stayed over and that night i went to the toilet and i tried not to wake up anybody but my friend marissa woke up, she stood straight up mumbled some garbage and when back to sleep, when i asked hert that morning if she woke up she didnt remeber it.

in 2000 my friend and marissa's brother ben did the same thing as marissa, i got up wanting to go to the toilet and he stood up mumbed some garbage and when back to sleep and once again he didnt remember it.

in 2004 me, my brother and my mother were having a horror movie night and we were watching the amityville horror II and it got to a real spooky part and the heater cover popped out and that was held in by screws!

once again in '04 me and my mum were watching the craft and after the movie finished muy mum stood up and said " i envoke thee! " and all the power went out!

in 2005 me and my brother were home alone and we could hear noises coming from upstairs ( we were downstairs ) sounding like moving furniture, yet when we walked up there there was no noise, we walked back downstairs and it started up again, my mother has also reported this on several occasions.

this is the regular stuff that happens every week at least the study door we shut on its own ( and sometimes lock ), the manhole cover upstairs will open and close, back door will open and close and lights will turn on or off.

we belive it may be and mother and her son haunting the place but we call our ghosts " fred ".

so now that ive said my story whats happening to you?

theres a public park walking track thing near my house that was the original settlement in my town. anyway, its fairly creepy at night. one night i was walking home (sober) and saw what looked like someone was there, looked again and it was something coming towards me then walked through me... needless to say i flipped out like a ninja and ran home quite fast.

the next day id completely forgotten about it, going for a walk to my friends after tea i walked over a drain grate and couldnt lift my feet, i looked down and there were 2 hands around my ankles, i freaked out ran home pulled down my socks and there were fingernail marks...

2 nites after that i was bringing the bin back to the house and something hit me on the shoulder as i walked under a tree. turned back and there was a young girl hung from the tree. my sister and brother saw it too so i dunno what went on but it was F****D up.

I moved into this place with my mum and step dad, this time last year... the house is well over 80 years old.

It's a double storey, 5 bedroom sort of old rich person's house over in the Northern Suburbs. It looks like the house in amtyville horror actually.

Anyway, There's always this feeling when you walk upstairs you're being watched.

A month after we moved in, the light fitting (about 50 cm in length) and made fully from glass, fell out of the THREE CHAINS holding it up... and missed my head in bed by less than 2 cm's.

About a month later, lights started blowing upstairs.. we discovered the television switching on and off, my computer started turning itself off... and freakishly enough whenever you go downstairs and leave music playing when you come back upstairs, the speakers are turned OFF. The house has been checked over three times by different electricians... and they can't find anything wrong with the wiring, even though the house is so old. They cannot explain why it blows globe after globe after globe or why electrical appliances turn on and off randomly.

A few months later, my step dad got annoyed at me making noise upstairs and moving around so he got out of bed at 4 am and went upstairs to tell me to shutup, the problem was I was at a friends house that night.... he swears he heard voices and movement. Since, people regularly report movement and noise ... like people moving furniture

I have a friend whose a psychic but I'm not that close with but have met in person a few times ... and (i know what you're thinking) she doesn't know anyone else I know so it was impossible for her to find out the information through any other source...there's also the small matter that she lives two states away. One day we were talking over skype (an internet program, for chatting) and she told me... "you live in X house, and there are X amount of rooms.. and in that house is an evil spirit trying to bring you harm)

About three months ago, the only thing that sticks in my mind... that I cannot possibly explain, appened to me... A mate and I were sleeping upstairs, he was in one room I was the other..... and my mate and I woke up to this voice saying "you're going to die at 5 pm". Considering we were in the house alone, That sort of got me...

My cat won't come upstairs... my dog comes upstairs and growls at thin air on a regular basis and always sits to my side, with its head towards the door as if its trying to protect me.

Hah, No I'm not a psychiatric patient nor Do i believe in things that aren't real, but ... a strange set of coincidences you'd have to say no ?

nah, people hate going to my house, my mate stayed in the study on new years eve and he thought my and my other mate where banging on the window and running up the stairs but me and him were outside drinking until 8am when we decided to go get hj's.

My brother seems to see alot of this stuff,one day he saw a little girl in the corner of the lounge room of our old family home and by chance this was mentioned to our elderly neighbour and it turned out that the old ladys daughter died in that corner many years before we moved in.
he used to deliver pizzas and he used to see this old bloke standing on the same corner and once he passed him and looked back he would be gone.

wow thats freaky! the worst ive had was a random wind blow on my feet when i had all doors and windows shut, funny thing was that i was under about 2 blankets and 2 duna's(spelling?) then i got a cold shiver... and accasionally i hear the floors creek and i go out of my room to look and there is nothing, nothing major..... but i cant explain 1. but 2 could be because its a old house keep the stories coming, i like reading this scary stuff

hmmm... haven't been in a haunted building for some time..... but I used to live in an apartment with my sister and a friend of hers, and there had beeen a few incidents throughout our tennancy, mostly just harmless stuff like our ghost turning on my sister's bedside lamp, telling her to go to bed (injured and medicated, needing maximum rest) and walking up & down the stairs, but on two occasions the ghost physically moved me. It was his way of telling us that someone in the room was a bad person. first time he just pushed me from behind, second time he pushed me halfway down the stairs, and we think he entered the nutbag friend, coz she went wierd saying stuff she'd have no clue about (but we did) so obviously this ghost was passing on info from my deceased grandfather

a house i lived in in QLD was haunted. i used to be at home alone of an afternoon regularly playing nintendo. you'd hear someone walk along the floorboards behind you and hear breathing, i'd turn around to say hello thinking my family had come home and there was no-one there. any ornament in the house that had a head and face would be turned around as if the ghost didn't want things watching them, including statues in a LOCKED china cabinet. and one night in particular my mum and dad heard someone run up the hallway into their bedroom, they turned the bedside lamp on thinking it was one of us kids, there was no-one there, then the ghost started laughing and ran back down the hallway. needless to say my dad near sh#t himself.

i saw a ghost of an old man in my grandparents old house in bulli nsw.

and my grandparents and mum (when she was young) lived in a haunted house in NZ.

Mate that's very freaky.

A while ago whenever I used to walk into my bathroom, it felt like something was grabbing the back of my shirt. Coincidently, this started to happen afer my pop died.

Has anyone ever had the balls to walk through a graveyard, on a cold windy night? I sure as f**k haven't. lol

Bet you would get a very spooky feeling.
