Tight assed tree hugging hippy!

So im giving away a ceramic sink on a classifieds website page thing...

i had a call from a guy who started to abuse me saying i was a 'tight ass' for giving the sink away. and that i should chuck it in the bin (its too big for my bin) or that i should smash it up and bin it (i dont have a slegehammer) or i should take it to the dump. (well he didnt offer any money to take it to the dump either).

after telling him i am only giving it away and thought that i would try to recycle it (maybe for a shed or a holiday home/shack) he then called me a 'tree hugger'!!??
i almost fell off my chair!!
i said to him that if he thinks that well then fine and then said "maybe if a few more tree huggers were around the world maybe a better place!!"

I thought i was doin a harmless enviormental and sustainable thing??? right????
Obviously not!!

Note: I didnt give him too much lip as it was someone from my department and its very large so i may never know who it was...

But to say i was a tight ass???? couldnt work that one out???
Tree Hugging hippy??? well i didnt think i would say that but whatever!

Am i missing something here??

Sounds like someone is having a bit of fun with you, maybe someone you know stirring you up for their own personal enjoyment.

but it didnt sound like someone i knew.
and if they didnt know me they would then probably then reveal themselves as i too am a bit of a joker at times...

i hope it goes on radio if it was that type of joke!

yea agree, they probably got someone you don't know to do it, either way it's pretty funny.

ok so the plan ive plotted is that im going to organise someone i dont know to email me saying that they are willing to pay $50 for it.
then send that email to him and cc it to the rest of my work mates...
