How about instead of asking everyone what pisses them off and what they dislike etc. Lets hear a few things that you love about your cars. Whether it be something in the design, or something youve added yourself. So tell me, what do you like about your cars?

ps. im not intending to make this a bragging thread.

I love the shape of the VN - VS Wagons, and the fact that a 6"3' bloke can sleep in the back and actually be comfortable (with the back seats down of course)

Comfortable? 6"3'? I just hate the fact you the seats dont fold flat, leaving either your head or your feet to be raised up while you sleep. When I first bought mine I was like yeh sick I can sleep in it after parties. I did that 3 times. The novelty wore off and I soon realised that it would be much easier to just go inside the persons place and find a bed. However I know it will come in handy one day.

i love the way my car clicks and goes when i put my foot down a little and how i've got the shift points worked out so that i know where and when it'll shift or when it'll hold.

I also live the simplicty yet shaply figure of a VS and being a simple exec theres no extra tom-foolery with airbags or ABS, its all down to the driver im in control and i love it.

i love the look on peoples faces when a simple commodore blows away their expensive import. i love becoming mates with the wreckers and getting parts cheap. i love people saying that i have an awesome ride alltho it is stock looking

that's it if people actually need all that driver intevention gadgetry then they really shouldn't be on the road.

PS I like the plan I have for my car, just gotta work out if it's gonna be done to the one I've already got, or build another over time

Most of all i love my girl whom between us can now give our future kids the best future possible.

i like the vn because of its
-looks
-roughness
-1st gear
-its on gas
-big boot
-being 6 foot and having my seat comfortable AND my back passengers having enough room.... (note: if your tall dont get into the back of a little 2door, its never comfortable)
-it was brought cheap and i own it 100%
-cheap parts
-my two tone dash (not finished yet) but it will be
-power for dollar

-i love my future plans for it........

I love the fact that I got my car for nothing (nice present from my mum after she bought herself an "04 Caprice and had nothing better to do with the VS).

I love the fact that I had my VS converted to gas for nothing. Thanks to the $2000 government grant, and my dad being a gas converter by trade and only charging me $2000 for the conversion

I love the fact that it only costs me ~$30 for a full tank of fuel and it gets me 400km of driving easily.

haha i know how you feel.... my dad brought my car for me and it had gas already, cost me between 25-30 depending on gas price, and last me about 350-450..... love it

I love v8's even if i'll never afford one. I love the sibling rivalry of holden vs ford. I love a bourbon after a hard day at work. I like smiling when i finally get what i've worked hard for.

I love cars the more i learn the more i want to know.

Its good that you say what you think and i dont think people dislike you for doing that,you just need to let other do the same.This is a public forum and you need to remember that.
Its good you have set your self up after struggling and are planning a family,there is nothing better than having kids in your life.

I have zero issue with people bragging about their cars performance, but why would you brag about performance of a car that cannot even run a sub 14?

I agree the old 8's sound ALOT better than the LS1's, its just the performance of the LS1 i love.

why brag about a car that cant run a sub 11? plenty of faster cars out there.
just because it is slow in your eyes, doesnt make it slow compared to every other car on the street. modified v6s owners dont want people thinking their car is faster than anything else, they just want it to be different than every other v6 out there. people place too much emphasis on 1/4 mile times.

I think the point is that this forum is for peopel who love their cars. Not everyone has the money to run a car sub 12 seconds. Id say the maturity of the rest of the forum should just let member X say what they want but take it with a grain of salt because they know better.

I love my car because it's my first car.
I also love the backseats (although im always bloody driving but at least my passengers are comfy)

when i was down and out, and almost broke my vn kept going and going.
i love the fact that when i was in the money my vn did finaly die, and i spend heaps of cash on it
